I just read that the first two Data Disc releases will be carries via Mondo Selects

I really hope they keep that up.

Saw Tomorrowland tonight and theres a scene that includes Mondos Iron Giant figure. Two of them. I was excited.

I may be wrong, but maybe the availability of the steel books has to do with Future Shop stores in Canada changing their name to Best Buy.

Futureshop / Best Buy keeps changing the name back and forth - but I'm sure that has nothing to do with their exclusive releases.

Sure would be nice to get some of those Future shop books in US

 

I doubt they'd be allowed to just reissue them exactly the same since they were store exclusives... but if they did variant editions maybe they could get away with it.

Happy to see True Detective getting a wider release as well.

Excited about the US steelbooks. I wonder if we will get different versions of the stuff already put out by Futureshop or if it's a whole separate deal.

For sure. UO reissues sort of come out of the blue and either stay in print virtually forever or disappear really quickly... so it's totally fair to not realize that. Just didn't want anybody paying too much for something readily available at retail.

Anyone else get Dragon Ball Xenoverse today? It's not bad so far, i've only got about an hour into the game though.

 

Picked it up first thing this morning, only played for an hour or so before work - really enjoyed all I got to do.

Played Dying Light the rest of the night though... so time will tell how much I enjoy the rest of DBX - still really excited to get into it.

I used to pull an all nighter whenever a new Budakai would drop - so this is all kinds of feelings.

I'd rather not have this thread turn into a slapfight. Can we get back on topic?

Also; I highly recommend someone snag that copy of Hold On Now, Youngster...  cause that band is tight and that album isn't super easy to come by. I found mine in a FYE in the middle of no where. Got real lucky.

I tried it for Destiny and didn't like it much. Mostly just due to it being hard to control. However, I did see a method for making it so you can still use your DS4 for the controller which could be cool. I was just testing it to see if I would be able to handle using it while I'm on the road for work, which I decided the answer was probably not.

 

Wait, so can you remote play long distance like that? I only knew about being able to do so on local wi-fi...

i also bought that murdered game wicked cheap, because i liked LA a lot Noire but murdered is nothing like that. its real easy and boring. i mean the story is kinda cool but lacked so much in gameplay, it was real fast. i like getting achievements but i've never 1000'd a game before, except murdered. 80% is just doing the story and the other 20% is finding shit. if you wanna drop $15 for a used copy at gamestop, i guess it not that bad just for something new to play

 

How long did it take to 1000? 

I'm in an achievement race and work at a GS I can just check it out...
