Just because it’s 100% of goal doesn’t mean people will get what they paid for in a timely manner (or at all.
Exactly.. i backed the OSSIC headphones .. they reach 250% of their initial goal .. paid $300 for the headphones.. Just got an email 2 months ago saying they tried and FAILED... $2.5 million collected in funds all down the drain

Um. 3D Printed tonearm is not something standard in either Rega or Pro-Ject. It was a huge deal a few years ago when VPI put one out.
Also the plinth is real thick. Again, not standard.
Also also the feet are better.
yup your're ringht.. however 3d printed arm IMO is pointless.. i'd be more comfortable to just buy something that has been tried and tested..
plith yup totally agree.. much better to have a bigger, heavier base..feet ?!?! those spikes are the biggest wank under the sun.. im still yet to see any hard data on them doing exactly what the sales "gurus" are saying...

does anyone want to get me one of those instrumental records and sent it to australia PLEASE??? i'll pay for ya VIP ticket!
-
its really not offering anything more or anything different compared to a Rega or Project .. its just a basic manual belt drive... id go with a well known company that you can purchase and receive RIGHT NOW instead of waiting for (and potentially failing) crowd funder

no dramas mate
if you go with him you wont be dissapointed

Jebediah - Slightly Odway Reissue... The bands social media says it will be a Translucent Brown with Black Swirl .. no mention of colour from Vinyl Destination..

I recently got into the hobby and I found linear tracking turn tables, I found one on ebay and purchased it and I love it. So I don't understand why there aren't any being made new anymore? Is there somthing bad about them that I don't know about?
they're around..... although its more linear tracking tonearms that are more available than the "all in one" linear tracking TT .. i have the clear audio TT5 arm .. brilliant arm .. but i think one of the biggest downside to the linear tracking arm is how long it takes to get it right (compared to standard arms)

ETR test presses are pretty much worthless at secondary, but good luck with your sale ! hopefully you find a collector looking for those records, otherwise id assume youd get somewhere near cost.
yes i know lol... after seeing what Old Mate sells the tests for i'd be happy with cost

Its time to cull.. starting with tests ... send offers.
shipping will be $15 fully tracked and insured .. (normally $25 from Australia but i'll meet half way)

which model? if its the base model it looks like that has no adjustment at all unfortunately
.. IF it does have a counterweight, you will need to get a stylus force gauge, look up the specs of the cartridge and look at the stylus tracking force .. usually around 2g is standard... and then adjust the couterweight until the stylus force gauge reads 2g ...
