  1. Oct. 14. https://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/collections/albums/products/popular-cycles Busman's Holiday is Lewis and Addison Rogers, brothers of melodic charm and ecstatic showmanship. Based in Bloomington Indiana, the duo released their debut full-length A Long Goodbye a couple years ago on JNR. Though adept in a D.I.Y. aesthetic of acoustic busking with only a guitar and a suitcase drum set, Popular Cycles is an expansion from the duo's stripped down origins. Recorded at Arcade Fire’s Sonovox Studio, arranger Matt Nowlin and producer Mark Lawson helped them capture an expanded sound, incorporating a 21-piece orchestra alongside the duo's charmingly primitive songs. The result is an adventurous album that gyrates from Americana to western soundtracks to drones of twelve-strings, and back to Americana... Think Richard Strauss scoring PeeWee’s Playhouse. The VIP-exclusive vinyl is limited to 500 hand-numbered copies on purple & orange A-side/B-side vinyl w/ white and magenta splatter. Plus, we're including a bonus lathe-cut DVD containing four live videos and one secret recording which is lathe-cut directly into the disc.
  2. Typical "shipped" comment really really liking this album, more a grower. More Dawes is good Dawes
  3. Been grooving all morning, I like it a lot. All the songs definitely work well with each other, favorites are Roll Tide (Go Griff!) and Picture Of A Man
  4. The test presses got approved about 3 weeks ago and the label posted some artwork in an Instagram story like artwork, center labels, etc. (no longer up though)
  5. Might have been me If you looking around the internet, Dave, make it happen! It would totally work! 3 different colors, c'mon! I really hope Seasons can have a place on the record. Was surprised myself to see some of those tracks taken off. Also, the song Over and Over is the last song on Side B and goes with (A)fternoon and on Side C, there is a "short version" of (A)fternoon in Eden which closes out that ep..very interesting..

After the release of Singularity, two members of the band left as we also parted ways with our record label. Figuring out the why and how to our future were real questions with undetermined answers. The love and passion to create music had never died but a resurrection was necessary as was a new beginning. 2009 became the year of redemption. Redefining success was a long but evident process as the focus became no longer on ticket sales and Soundscan numbers but on social impact, building community, and meeting people in need. Every month during 2009 MAE released a new song exclusively through our website and used 100% of digital download proceeds to partner with charities, organizations, and people with various needs. Eventually three EPs, (m)orning, (a)fternoon, and (e)vening materialized with these collections of songs plus previously unreleased material. In some ways we always thought of these songs as one larger body of work and hoped to someday share that with our fans. Today we bring you (m)(a)(e). (m)(a)(e) is the remixed, remastered, and reimagined trilogy of EPs from our 2009 non-profit charitable campaign in a never before released 3xLP format. To celebrate this release, we are making a limited edition triple 12 inch vinyl available for pre-order purchase along with an immediate download of the brand new (m)(a)(e). Only 750 copies of this variant will ever be made. As the future became brighter and brighter for MAE during 2009, the need for rest also became apparent. Our season of rest is now over and the time has come for something brand new. We look forward to sharing our future with you! Until then, -Dave, Jacob & Zach #longlivemae Good (M)orning The Fisherman Song (We All Need Love) The House That Fire Built Boomerang - Two Birds A Melody, A Memory Night Day Over And Over The Fight Song (Crash and Burn) In Pieces The Cure Falling Into You Communication - (A)fternoon In Eden A Quiet (E)vening - Bloom I Just Needed You To Know My Favorite Dream Sleep Well - Good (E)vening Seasons
  7. Really love the song, sounds like autumn to me...while I think over my life and what's been happening internally #deepthoughts
  8. He tours with a band, but every official album or EP is just him. He learned tons of instruments living in the Yosemite area with lots of free time
  9. Why did you not like it if you don't mind me asking? They had a great producer and tracked the album live with all four players in the room, thought they captured something really great
  10. That makes sense, there is another bundle that has the marbled record that's out of 500

  13. Cool interview from Sound Fiction: http://www.soundfiction.net/2016/08/08/indian-lakes-announces-everything-feels-better-now-tour-dates# Most interesting bit, "The album was recorded using vintage analog equipment, with no editing on vocals and instrumentation."

  17. "Should" be getting these soon from another IndieGoGo email. Reached out if there was a specific date but haven't heard anything else. " Anyone who ordered vinyl, man this colored vinyl that y'all are receiving is freakin COOL!!! Unfortunately, it was delayed another week, so it won't arrive in the warehouse until next Monday, July 18. I've been assured though, that it will be shipped immediately after arriving at the warehouse, so keep your eyes peeled! "
  18. August 5th, 2016 Pre-orders go live on July 25th. The digital album will be released August 5th. The 2xLP limited pink vinyl will be released Nov. 4th. The vinyl package includes a digital download of the audio, plus a discount code for the Vimeo film. Pre-order the film here via Vimeo. http://store.carparkrecords.com/products/574512-cak117-toro-y-moi-live-from-trona Following extensive touring behind What For?, his fourth studio album as Toro Y Moi, acclaimed musician Chaz Bundick brought the band to the middle of the Mojave Desert in April 2016 to play a special concert. Live from Trona documents this experience, recorded live beneath the geological wonders known as the Trona Pinnacles, which formed thousands of years ago in what used to be a prehistoric lake. The album features unique live arrangements of songs from across the band’s catalog, new music, and an expanded band line-up. On the congas, Bay Area multi-instrumentalist Brijean Murphy adds a layer of rhythm, switching between propulsion and deep atmosphere. And for a brand new song, “JBS,” the group is joined by tourmates The Mattson 2. This collaboration between Bundick and the Mattson twins takes on a classic groove with a jazz fusion approach. For the film, nine-time Vimeo Staff Pick director Harry Israelson chose to break the fourth wall, revealing the filmmaking process by making equipment, lights, and crew visible at all times. With no audience in attendance and a spectacular natural environment that feels otherworldly, the film pays homage to rock films of a previous era. As the sun sets behind the pinnacles, the supernatural setting seamlessly weaves together with the 13 psychedelic tracks, all recorded on site over the course of an entire day. Through the use of hand-drawn animations and behind-the-scenes VHS footage, Live from Trona offers viewers a surreal concert experience, placing them front row at a private Toro Y Moi show. Tracklisting 1. Divina 2. What You Want 3. Buffalo 4. Still Sound 5. Ratcliff 6. Half Dome 7. The Flight 8. JBS (feat. The Mattson 2) 9. Lilly 10. High Living 11. Grown Up Calls 12. Say That 13.
