I Caustic Resin for 10 bucks on eBay, it isn't as sought after as tnwwl. My copy of tnwwl is pretty worn I wish they'd repress it

I think it's been repressed again along with You in Reverse. At least logic points to that since they were gone now they aren't

Looks awesome, I'm jealous I was passed on the blue pressing, although to charge 12 bucks extra for it seemed unnecessary.

As far as inserts go, the original just has a red piece of paper with lyrics on it. You could make your own and it'd probably be better quality haha

I don't like the shade of gold Topshelf used, I think the split color would've looked way better with the more typical bright yellowish gold.. also, the cover is interesting. i'm not sure if I like it or not.

That's not gold though, it's bright yellow

Yeah seriously. I rarely listen to my copy because 80-37 is my favorite track and the record depresses me even more than it should when it skips over it ;(

The green variant came out yellow it's kinda strange looking going with the album art.

What was the red Post-Nothing pressing info? I've never even heard of it... thought the RSD white /300 was the rarest variant.

Does anyone know why these are shipping from Matador? That's probably why there's such a difference between those getting theirs and not getting theirs. Got mine 4 days ago.

This record really clicked for me today and I ended up listening to it about 10 times. To me the long songs (Ecce, Eating Disorder, In A Small Body, Tried to Quit Smoking) are better than anything they've previously done while the shorter songs do a good enough job tying them together. Goddamn Eating Disorder is such a great track.

According to popsike $150 is about the average for a real copy (lotsa fake ones on there). That's still surprisingly low for a 20+ year old /1000 debut release from a band as great as Pavement.

Original hand numbered copy 611/1000 in perfect condition. Someone on ebay didn't know what they had and put it up for $50 BIN.

Got this randomly in the mail today. Came straight from Matador for some reason (I guess they're the XL distro) and I was silently hoping I'd won some contest that I forgot about since I hadn't ordered anything from them lately haha. The red is opaque and the sleeve is gatefold and made from the same material as The Monitor. This is a very handsome package for $13.

I'm actually enjoying the album quite a bit after a few listens... other than The Electric Man.

I agree with jetsfan though, this album sounds like they're distancing themselves from The Monitor quite intentionally. Making an album like that twice would probably cut 10 years off Stickles life haha.
