  1. I know it's a lathe cut and is more so suited to own just to say you have it (and not actually listen to it), but this thing sounds like complete garbage. Picture listening to a 64kbps mp3 across a radio signal that is just barely coming in. Unlistenable.

A heads up to who pressed this (Broken World right?): go with www.lathe-cuts.com

The PIAPTK guy does lathe cuts that actually sound pretty good, minus a little surface noise.

    Looks neat though for sure.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but with the World Is lathe they did I really had to crank the weight of my tone arm up and it actually sounded pretty good. It sounded similar to what you're describing using the regular weight.

  2. I'm going to start...still want the slingshot dakota, pswingset, cut teeth and we were skeletons lps...not to mention all of the world is a beautiful place 7"s and the split with Deer Leap. I hope they repress the everyone everywhere lp soon too cause I missed out on that the first time around..

The first Everyone Everywhere is Tiny Engines and 2012 the band pressed their own. Both are readily available

  3. Dead wax info for side A: S-32550 CRC-006-12-A "KEV" (etched) and "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" (stamped)

And side B: S-32550 CRC-006-12-A "KEV" (etched) and "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" (stamped)

Yeah that's the same as mine. I'd really love to know why that happened with the jackets now

Edit: Just noticed yours also doesn't have a bar code

  4. Got this in the other day and I have been spinning it constantly..

I also ordered You Blew It! and Duck, Little Brother, Duck! and I have been listening to those in constant rotation as well...

I seriously cannot express how much I love this fucking label...I wish I had an extra 200 bucks so I could buy every single release

    Bravo Topshelf...Bravo!!

That Duck Little Brother Duck album is insane! Topshelf easily had most of my favorite releases from last year coming from their label. I buy whatever they release no matter what haha

  5. Number 26/100, I have enough variants of this record so I'm willing to part with it.

I'll entertain any trade offers but I'm mainly looking for the list below. Not really the most related records to what I want to trade so this is probably fruitless. I also don't want to straight sell it for cash, but if someone makes an offer I can't refuse...

Might be a little absurd asking for a few of these so I'm willing to add cash as well:

-Built to Spill - Ancient Melodies of the Future

    -The Mars Volta - Amputechture / De-Loused

    -The Microphones - Blood/Little Bird

-Mount Eerie - White Stag CDr

-Modest Mouse - Long Drive / Lonesome

    -Radiohead - in Rainbows discbox

  6. Got my blue today in a normal LP mailer in perfect condition, so it looks like things are now running well over at Crank.

    Sick.

Also excited to hear that all 10 tracks are on this pressing. Here's to hoping the quality isn't fucked compared to the 8 track press, anyone have both yet?
