  1. Question for the folks that have been following MO forever (or more specifically MO's merch store). Does the band ever have an overflow of a specific item from a bundle? Really digging that A Black Mile To The Surface T-Shirt and didn't pull the trigger in time before all the bundles were sold out.

Side note -- I'm thinking Manchester really out did themselves on this album. Haven't stopped listening to it since it's been released. Front to back -- The Grocery is a stand out track for me.

I got there early on Friday and was doing my annual walk through before sets began. When I got to 4AD table i don't know what made it pop into my mind, but I randomly asked if they would be come widely available. She said she wasn't done setting up and pulled out a sealed box. She gave me the first one. Pretty sure the box glowed with a celestial light as she pulled out the first single.

And while she works for 4AD and I kinda knew how she would respond, I asked if she heard the album and if so what are her thoughts. She said it is a fantastic album and fans will love it, that it's different but familiar. So I was amped.

    This...I like all of this.

  3. I just use it online. No card. No numbers. It tallies them for you in the upper right and will flag any potential purchases which you could use them on. You will see something like, "Use 14 Bullmoose points" next to something as you are checking out. Click it, it adjusts the price before final checkout.

Thanks! Have yet to see any records that have the option to actually use my points. I'll hold onto the 11 I have now and hopefully use them in the future.

  4. BM posted their Cyber Monday deals.

    Some highlights:

New Beach House albums - $14/15

    Beatles Box Mono - $280, one pre-owned for $211

    Brand New Deja - $21

Blur Magic Whip - $30 (still pretty high, such a great album)

Drums Encyclopedia - $12 (Red.  Don't be fooled by the $17 black version)

    Iceage Plowing - $12

Koz RockNRoll - $13 (All the RHP stuff is on here $15-22)

Ghostbusters Stay Puft - $15 (Remember when this was listed @ $40?)

    Replacements Box - $56

    Thunderbitch - $14

Worst case, seems to beat Amazon by ~$2-3.

Manchester Orchestra - Hope for $13.48 is a pretty sweet deal.

Thanks for the heads up about Bull Moose!

    Just scored:

Ryan Adams - Live at Carnegie Hall 6 LP - $67.47

    Manchester Orchestra - HOPE - $13.48

Grace Potter - Midnight - $14.98 (for the wife's birthday)

Can someone explain to me how to the Bull Moose Points work? I had 3.7 points before this purchase, but I don't know how to use them. I don't have a Bull Moose store in my area and only order online. It's saying that I have to link my online account to a store account for me to activate my points?

  5. Would anyone that's going to one of the upcoming shows be able to pick me up a poster? Would pay for cost/shipping/a bit extra for your troubles.

I would also like to get in line for someone picking the Blade Runner poster up for me as well. Cost+shipping+a little extra. Let me know if anyone is willing.

Just posted this in "so is anyone into collection prints/posters also" section -- up on Ebay (not mine) if anyone is interested -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/EL-VY-Return-to-the-Moon-screen-print-poster-/181925654265?hash=item2a5b9d2ef9:g:Aa0AAOSw5VFWPlBM

Has Matt mentioned at any of the shows if there are going to be any more tour dates announced?

    NEW SONG "BAD DESIRE"

In case anyone missed it yesterday, I put up a new song "Bad Desire" as part of the pay to stay voting competition. If we get enough views, there is 10K in hotel vouchers for us to use to be able to be out on the road more often. So share it around, and hope everyone likes the new song!

  7. I'm sad I'm missing OSL this year, heading to Chicago next week for a wedding and thought I'd save for that instead. I'm also not a big festival person but the last couple of years I ponied up for VIP and it makes all the difference in the world.

Speaking of festivals - Treasure Island has a solid lineup this year and is much more manageable than OSL.

I've been to Treasure Island once...the last time The National headlined (I'm thinking 2010?). Really easy going Fest. Outside Lands is still my favorite though. Unbelievable people...the location...WOW! It is just amazing. The craft beer is phenomenal.

Wish I lived in San Francisco  :P
