Update: So, yeah. I have to send this thing back and try to get a replacement, only if No Sleep deams it to be warped.

 

They said "Normally we do not do refunds or exchanges on records since the movement is out of our hands its the USPS who is responsible for said package. But since it is a test press I will gladly get this figured out for you"

 

What a pain! I'm going to be refunded my shipping costs ($17 with tracking) but eff. There's no way this thing wasn't warped before it was sent out. The package arrived in perfect condition. No dings or anything and the sleeve is mint.

Good luck. No Sleep is by far the worst label to deal with. They have no idea what customer service is.

No stores in the Philly area have them yet. I went to the main vinyl carrying stores yesterday. Got a decent amount of albums with hot cash though.

And they sent me Red and Black.  I'm kinda pissed.

The same thing happened with my letlive album.

How did you warp a record into unplayable condition in less then 3 weeks? Did you leave it outside, in the car, in an oven?

On a side note, I raided two Hot Topics tonight and they luckily had some decent finds.

I'm about to go to two pretty decently vinyl stocked stores. I'll let everyone know what they have and maybe I can pick up stuff for people since I have about 7 hot cash coupons and only plan on using about 1 or 2.

Hopefully when vinyl comes back they do some kind of clearance or 50% off everything music etc.

That would be an even better sale than Hot Cash...
