  1. I ordered mine 2 days ago so until I will receive it I can't say much more. Looks like the round box for the vinyl is made out of wood connected by some king of a hinge, and the front with the band logo is probably made out of steel, I can post some detailed photos when i receive it or you can ask the label for more details, the contact was great, I emailed them with an order on saturday eveining, got a response an hour later and the package has been sent today before noon...
  2. hi I found out that Onus - Peter Bjärgö project, (a really good, atmospheric, dark ambient) https://soundcloud.com/cycliclaw/onus-the-dreams-die-young-excerpt?in=cycliclaw/sets/onus-proslambanomenos-cd-83rd-cycle just released their new album Proslambanomenos on vinyl through Russian label SEALT and boy oh boy what an amazing packaging it has...I won't say much more, just check it out for yourself on discogs https://www.discogs.com/Onus-Proslambanomenos/release/8682602 it is still available to order from the label's site http://www.sealt.su/mailorder/ the price is 25euros which i personaly think is a great price for such an awesome stuff, shipping cost me 15euro (to Europe) which is not that cheap, although considering the fact that it probably weights "a little bit more" than the standard single LP isn't that much either.
  3. strange considering the fact that I see it in the message you quoted...Oh well. here is the link, maybe that will work, if not - sorry. https://www.dropbox.com/s/txu1kmn03qdx1yt/20160510_194226_HDR.jpg?dl=0
  4. my guess is that relapse wanted everyone to have it on release date and they assumed the international shipping will take a bit longer than it actually did. i hope they will be shipping the missing covers asap and they will pack it as good as the record itself. and here's proof that it looks good
  5. They did send the vf variant because i just received one, unfortunatelly without the splatter cover.. I will write relapse whats up with that later today...vinyl looks great though.
  6. ok, so I bought the rough trade version, then I bought the second rough trade version so my wife can go to the show with me, then i bought the splatter because obviously the 2 I had already wasn't enough - and did I mention I'm traveling from Poland to London just for their release show in rought trade? now can someone pleasee hook me up with the link? don't make me beg...
  7. Subtotal: $25.00 USD Shipping: $23.00 USD Total: $48.00 USD and you worry about 1.5$ tax...
  8. u sir f&^%&^% rule, got one thx to you, thxxx!!!!
  9. While filming #vertigoflowers @relapserecords had given us 110 blank LP covers. We had the covers laid out in various positions during the shoot so they would catch some of the splatters. We combined them with a see through yellow/rainbow spatter vinyl and will be releasing them for sale at 2 PM EST today. Follow @bandofnothing on Twitter or Nothing on Facebook for the link.
  10. sure, why not, I'll send u a PM I've been to Rough Trade East in London in november (business trip) but only for shopping, so I have no idea how shows there looks like, do they have a separate space for shows? I've been to Rough Trade in NYC 2 years ago and they had a second room, the size of the whole store or even bigger. so when the show was about to begin huge doors opened and they let people in, the venue was really great.
  11. Looks like I got caught up in the heat of the moment cause I just bought a second record (1LP=1 wristband, and I'm taking my wife with me) and a plane ticket so looks like I'm gonna make it
  12. Rough Trade offers special bundles including grey vinyl & wristband for the in-store show on the date of the album release, it's a ca. 1500km from where I live but i'm considering attending - anyone here seen them perform live? are their shows worth such a travel?
  13. in case someone is looking for it, I just bought Milky Clear with Red, Black, and Pink Splatter /200 version on an emp-shop.pl website, it is listed as "color" vinyl but they confirmed via email that it's this variant. I guess it's the same version on all emp sites as they differ in language only (I think...)
  14. are you sure? the album alone is 18pounds = over 25$...shipping to US under 2$? i paid over 31$ with shipping to Poland....
  15. ehh, that's expensive but not expensive enough to stop me from buying it...damn....i wonder how many of these will pop up on ebay after release date for 3 x the original price...I hope I'm gonna be strong enough to resist the temptation of buing it then... where i live, dealing with packages worth over 30$ is a lottery - sometimes you must pay custom charge and sometimes you don't...but you are right - guess it would still be worth it.
  16. damnn, thx to a f%$&g work trip abroad with limited net connection i totally missed the preorder...deluxe is long gone - can anyone tell me what was the cost of the deluxe with shipping to europe? I want to minimalise that empty hole in my heart caused by missing the 2LP with an info about the (probably) ridiculous price I would have to pay for it.
  17. i just bought two less than an hour ago, and it was still in stock, maybe there was only 1 or 2 left after that and someone already bought it...
  18. http://www.limitedvinyl.nl/en/the-mars-volta-de-loused-in-the-comatorium-2lp.html looks like gold version still available here
  19. there aren't many vinyl pressed in Poland, most Polish bands I listen to don't release their music on vinyl (I'm talking about hard rock and metal bands)- it is too expensive for them. Most popular does (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated - polish metal can be quite popular) but these are the bands that release their music mainly through foreign labels. And they cost as much as in US, sometimes more. Prices of vinyl pressed here vary from ca 15$ (independent small labels, punk, hard core etc) to 20-30$ with the most popular pop/rock artists. CDs of polish artist cost 10-12$, foreign artists, 15-25$. Foreign artists vinyl sold by polish distributors does not get lover than 20$, average price is ~ 25-30$ Some does go as high as 40-50$ (Im talking about standard edition, not box sets or limited editions) for example - alice in chains unplugged - 45$ faith no more - king for a day - 37$. Some of them are totally absurd - I saw smashing pumpkins Mellon Collie box set for 160$ (in a chain record store) !! And I bought it on amazon.ca for 1/4 of that price...so as you see, we do have A LOT to complain about...but big record companies and distributors are greedy fucks everywhere, doesn't matter if it's Poland or USA. It won't change, all we can do is sometimes wait for the price to get lower, to search in different places, different stores, look for the best price. We can also stop buying records as a protest against the high prices. But I'm afraid I'm a too much of a music/vinyl addict to use such a radical solution cheers Man.
  20. oh cmon, give it time, it's gonna cost under 30$ on amazon.com, probably even before the preorder ends, if it already costs 40$ on amazon.uk...
  21. I live in Poland. The average sallary here is less than 40% of the average sallary in usa. So basically, spending 40$ for a record for US citizen is same as spending 100$ in here. What is a good price for you? 20$? comparing the salaries again, 20$ for me would be like spendin 8$ for you. If new records would cost me ~ 8$, I would go to a record store every week and probably buy more than i can cary....I now u don't give a fuck about prices in other countries, but next time you complain about them, think about the poor bastards like me in Poland I don't mean to be rude - I'm just sayin - there are people that are screwed wayyy much more than you, and they deal with it always look at the briiight sidee of lifeee...
  22. a down vote for a heads up about a good deal - thanks to anyone who did that, u're awesome.
  23. ca. 2 x cheaper for people in Europe, considering the free shipping on amazon.uk - this is a good deal...I don't know if amazon.uk has free shiping to usa as well, if not - wait for the preorder on amazon.com. And is 40$ really that much for a record? that is pretty much standard price for a vinyl for a person living in europe and ordering from US (15-20$ for a record + 20-25$ for shipping...) I know it should be less expensive, but it's not THAT much to complain so much...Anyway, lets just hope the sound on this one will be worth the price.
