Regardless of who or why or anything, it happened. That's all that really matters and it's horrible. Thoughts out to anyone affected by the tragedy.

From Spartan Records' Facebook about 16 minutes ago:
"RED ALERT: There will be few extra copies of the second pressing of Mae's "Destination: Beautiful on vinyl. We will make these available to the public this WEDNESDAY. We will make an announcement tomorrow about the specific time and location that they will be available. Stay tuned!"
So for any of you that missed out, like me, pay attention to their FB page tomorrow.

UPS shipping is cheaper than USPS for this... LOL. I think I'll go with the free download of this one.

He opened with "I Don't Care About Your Band" which I enjoyed. Then throughout the set he played two others. The first was "Navigate", which in my opinion is absolutely phenomenal, then the last one was "For Eugene" which is another song inspired by Hurricane Sandy. Isobel Campell is doing vocals with him on that one for the LP and he was really psyched explaining how it came out, so im definitely looking forward to that one.
Also he stil had quite a few YWSN posters and Circle Gets the Square tour copies with him. Bummed I didnt have the cash, but just a heads up to anyone who's interested and has the chance to catch him during any other shows he may play in the near future
That sounds pretty awesome. I saw the vid you posted of "Navigate" in a different thread. I was definitely enjoying it. Wish I could get my hands on one of those tour copies of Circle Gets The Square.

guys, Maholm is pitching ridiculous. so awesome, really liked him in pittsburgh
It's great to see him doing so well. He had talent with the buccos, just no run support, ever.
Speaking of the Pirates... How about the sweep of the Reds? Didn't see that one coming.

In the first post of the official RSD thread someone mentioned it. I'm not sure if there's a link though.
Ahh, thanks. I see it was linked from the huge list on http://new-vinyl.blogspot.com/ . That's a bummer, I guess? I'm working on RSD but was still hoping to snag that on my break. Guess I won't have to worry about it now.
-
from what i've heard the split isn't going to be RSD any more, but it will be with SA on tour.
Whaaaat? Link?
It makes sense, since they are touring together but I haven't heard anything like that myself.

Is this safe to do?
I neither recommend or advise against this. I just know where he got the idea from and am supplying it to anyone who wants to see it.

Do yourself a favor and look at the How To Pack A Record thread before shipping these out to whoever wins. Just saying, since you mentioned you're new to this. I'm tired of getting records from eBay that are packed in between two bubblegum wrappers and held together with masking tape.
Good luck with the auctions.

Yeah, this is my entry to the band. I saw it up on Graveface while I was watching the auction but for only a few bucks extra I was happy to get the 1st press highlighter green splatter (that green on green you linked looks reeeally nice though). Also, I enjoy buying from people associated with the boards.
Concerning Illumination Ritual, I looked into it after checking the PO thread the other day. It's shocking that Graveface gets these releases out for $15 shipped. Do you think it'll sell out prior to the release or still be available through Graveface after 4/23? I'd like to pick it up with my next paycheck, after RSD. I really don't see a reason why I shouldn't grab that one up for $15 though.
Appreciate the info on everything!

I'll sell you my copy with that built to spill test press, hawk.
Haha, I won the auction this morning. Thanks for looking out, though.

We hear you guys on the bent corners and are hopefully going to figure out a solution. They weren't Casey's fault though - blame me and the USPS for that.
Totally understand. I've watched my USPS carrier frisbee packages into the back of his truck. You can't count on them to care about a package if it's marked fragile or not. It's all part of the great adventure. I'm glad I was able to get a copy of Kingprince on wax at all, let alone such a great looking one.

Postal service has been great. Better than expected!
Really bummed that I missed this. Praying they come to ACL Festival.

yeah mine were bent too, i figure they will straighten out eventually.
Mine arrived today. Same here; bent corners on both the signed and non-signed jacket.
Regardless, the look and feel of the jacket is phenomenal. I'm really pumped to spin this beautiful cream wax in the morning. Thanks for everything, guys (Casey, directly).

Received a record shipped between two pieces of thin cardboard taped together. Needless to say, it's mangled.

edit: PM'd with info on purchasing

"LOOK AT DEM BOOBIEEEEESSS"
Thank you, Eric.

Cheers for starting this at 99 cents.

Saw Kevin Devine tonight, amazing set as always with a few treats: a front bottoms cover and 3 new songs
The best part was when he finally gave in to requests for "I Could Be With Anyone" and kept messing up the lyrics
How were the new songs?
