I just sold my test pressings for NIN's "Down In It" and "Broken". Got a pretty penny for each of them too

I still have two copies of the "Head Like a Hole" 12" and "Sin".

Mine also says shipped but I never got an email stating so  

i ended up with an extra cause my friend who asked me to pick him one up didn't want to pay for it. sold it on ebay for $250 a few months ago. 

 

 

yeah, I have it up on ebay for $200 BIN. One sold last night for $202....

 

I hate to sell it since I've been a member since #5 but I could really use the cash. The new VAULT package looks AWESOME so I'm excited to get that in place of #8

It all comes down to money and TOOL fans are willing to sell their left arms to go to show. It's pretty sad but at the same time, they (the fans) do it to themselves.

I'm a HUGE nine inch nails fan, but if TR were to start talking about us fans this way (and no, I don't wear dirty clothes nor skip out on showers) I would be beyond offended and refuse to support him any longer.

[You play] heavy music, and your record company, which has never owned an album anything like what you're doing, immediately markets you to the obvious stinky kid with the dreadlocks and the B.O. and the urine on his shoes because he's been sleeping in his own filth in a festival in the middle of the rain. They basically market right to that guy. And then you realize the only people showing up to your shows are those primates—these weird, cretin people… Then, let's say you're at a coffee shop, and you've got a friend sitting next to you, and you've been reading some Noam Chomsky, or you're reading The Onion, and you look over and see a bunch of kids [who] look like they could be made of cheese, because there are flies everywhere. And you go, "Hey, you want to go where they're going?" and everybody goes, "Fuck no." And they're wearing Tool shirts. Why would you want to go there? Why would anybody other than those kids wanna go see Tool if that's our representative in that area? So it ends up being a no-win situation. Of course, that's a completely extreme example.

 

Yeah, reading this would make me feel good about shelling over $150 for a shitty EP....

I pulled the trigger on this LP since I'm a sucker for colored wax.....

$19.87 to ship a 10" to the UK.....ugh.....

Well, this release sure did bring the price down on the Simply Vinyl version

I actually came here to vent my frustrations on these new shipping rates. Has anyone compared USPS to the likes of UPS or DHL?

I recently shipped an LP to France via DHL but the buyer refused it due to having to pay a $40 duty tax on it. I had never used DHL before so I was a little confused as to what I should do next time to prevent this sort of thing from happening again. Can I select non-dutiable since I'm not a business?

All I have left is the Brazilian pressing with the 2 page press sheet.

As far as ETS goes, you should come back! The site has been up for a little over a year now and is completely revamped. Some cool stuff has happened too. We unearthed the Fragility v1.0 MTV promo is high quality, managed to get a truck load of unreleased COIL remixes from Fixed and Closer, as well as a 19 track demo tape of Marilyn Manson's ANTICHRIST SUPERSTAR that has unreleased songs, alt lyrics, and a bunch of other cool stuff.

I was doing a google search for the new Marilyn Manson repressing of Antichrist Superstar and the first link was to this site. I can't believe I'm now just finding this place! 

Hello VinylCollective! I'm new here, but I've had a big presence within the NIN community for many years as having one of the largest vinyl collections. The time has come for me to finally part ways with my collection and I thought I would post my FS thread here as well just to see if any non-echoingthesound.org members were interested in what I've got. So the time has come to part ways with my collection (it's kinda sad, this seems to be a common trend as of late). I had a minor surgery about a month and half ago and have a pretty hefty bill now; even after my medical insurance kicked in. This means I need to unload as much of my collection as I possibly can. I figured I would start here and over at NIN.com first, then move on to eBay after that. If you're interested in anything from my list, please PM me with an offer.
