  1. 1 turbine= power for about 1,000 households US= about 111,200,000 households +/- so 111,200 turbines must be produced in order to meet these needs. 24 feet by 10 feet solar panel= enough energy to power a household so 34 feet solar panel x 111,200,000 households= 3,780,800,000 feet of solar panels needed. Look at the carbon footprint that is made by producing all of these turbines and solar panels. http://www.solarenergy.org/resources/youngkids.html#8 http://www.bwea.com/ref/faq.html
  2. America's energy addiction needs to be weened off slowly and not cold turkeyed. The wind alley in the midwest isn't big enough to suppy enough energy. Solar power won't work for most of the US since they have too many clouds unlike the southwest. And environmentalists hate nuclear power. So where is all of our power going to come from?
  3. Oh my god, politicians are hypocrites! GASP! It doesn't change what we need to do one iota. Maybe I should say that Californians are hypocrites. If you even govern your state, then how can you tell other states what to do? The last time I checked California had a 58+ billion dollar debt to deal with.
  4. all the people here bitchin about winning a bid and then not paying for it is ok, could you please list your ebay names.
  5. the way I look at it, if you have enough money to waste on coke and pills, then you have too much money then.
  6. what's the fascination with blink 182, they're just a shitty band that influenced a million other shitty bands.
  7. sorry my bad, I meant how much money does a label give to the band for an LP and for a 7 inch. Like if the LP was sold for $10 how much should the band get and if 7 inch was sold for $4?
  8. About how much money should a band get from and LP and from a 7 inch per record?
