I am putting a bunch of late 90's/early 00's Dj vinyl up on ebay. I have no interest in this music anymore but i figure someone might be into this. I'm not trying to make money, just want to pass them on. All of them are staring at $.99 a piece. If you see some you are interested I will combine or bundle as many as you want, and we can woork out a price. Most have wear and tear due to the amount of travel over the years. But all the records are playable and in good condition. there are some really nice gems. I have over 150 to list so have patience while I post them or contact me directly and I can go over the rest. Yeah especially when you add in all the different center label and jacket color changes throughout the pressings...but most importantly... this is a GREAT album. My favorite HWM release.

oddly enough I bought them at Bed Bath and Beyond. I had been looking for something that would work for months. online, storage stores, I even considered building some myself. one day I found myself there and they were the first thing I saw. the were like $40 a piece, got two of them. they actually had a forth shelf but I didn't want it on there because of the height of the half wall behind it. I also have seen them in the restaurant that I work at and a bunch of other places, so they are pretty common I guess. hold 500 lbs too.

All my CD's and burned to my computer(s) I never listen to them. I pretty much only buy vinyl. That is why I (we) NEED every label to offer MP3's with every vinyl purchase. I hate buying stuff twice.

Mine looks more like 867530h9 than anyone else's... definitely not "solid purple"...seems a bit darker too.

I just bought the new Mouth of the Architect, It is amazing... If you haven't heard of MOTA yet and like Isis, Pelican, Neurosis, Red Sparrows...etc. They are amazing. The new record entitled "Quietly" isn't as hard as the precursor. they completely show their depth and ability to layer sound. Highly recommended. Other recent include Old Man Gloom-Christmas gold/black(ebay 20 bucks....yesss) A Storm of Light - And We Wept The Black Ocean Within (a must for any neurosis fan) Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures Shellac - 1000 Hurts Refused - Shape of Punk to Come (1st pressing don't ask how much I paid for it) Nomeansno - Live + Cuddly

I have also been using the "No Idea Purple" phrase in the colors. I have some HWM vinyl that is completely impossible to decipher what it is? did any one listen to the last podcast? they talk about how ridiculous the no idea color thingy is. I am good friends of Sub Home and VC and have been to the warehouse many times and I have seen some no idea colors that are labeled differently but look the same, and some that look totally different and are labeled the same. My buddy Joey went nuts with the Against Me, Reinventing Axl Rose, and I guess towards the end of his whole collection he was getting a bunch of confusing color-label-label-colors. It's all pretty hilarious.

I agree completely. If they dropped BCD and started selling stuff elsewhere...(VC, hint hint) and also releasing more of their catalog on vinyl as well, and not just CD. I realize it's way more expensive to do that, but I'm sure everyone on here will agree, It's worth the extra money (for us) to have the vinyl copies. anyway. that's what I got

I checked the Hydra head site and there was one thing that struck me... It says on the HH contact page that "all pre-orders should go through the store" that said I get the feeling that BCD has done pre-orders in the past. anyway I emailed BCD and asked them if they could shed a little more light on the subject. I'll let you know.

Yes Hydra head through Blue Collar Distro, I've been checking the site religiously so I'll let you all know when, if, I see anything...Also there is a picture of the guys from Torche in fucked up monster costumes on the hydra head welcome page that has been cracking me up for 3 days... awesome. check it out.
