Still searching for Bone thugs and Motörhead, probably won’t have any luck though
Ohhh I see I'm not the only one...

Anyone get an extra copy of Bone Thug? Seriously.... no joke....

Got into these guys when Dealer came out. Been on steady rotation since then. One of my favourite bands that I discovered from this board. I’m gonna pick up my copy on 31st when I see them in Toronto. I’m gonna wait til then to hear it. Hopefully I can last that long....

Little bummed I missed the black. Loved the dealer. Prob one of my faves to revisit on a regular basis. Gonna go see them when they hit Toronto. Hopefully I’ll be able to snag a red haze.

I purchased the aural pleasures version of the King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard band but my American contact moved back to Canada. Shipping to Canada from AP is a whopping $21 US. Is there anyone who is kind enough to have me ship it to them and they in turn can ship it to me in Canada cheaper. It’s the only version I wanted... let me know please.

Shipping for the VC variant has started, keep an eye on your emails for tracking info!
about half of the orders have already been shipped but if you’re still waiting, please be patient and I promise it will be shipped out this week.
im doing this entire project solo with a full time job and other stuffs so I’m making trips to the post office every day this week.
thanks again and if you have any questions regarding your order, just shoot me a message.
Take your time. Must be time consuming... So glad I ordered this version!

Gravity and later were just bad to me. Between Raine's voice change, Turner's noticable absence and the new slick over produced sound, I just really don't care for it. I recently saw them live, and was blown away at how bad they sounded. Not trying to be harsh, but Raine's voice was completely shot, and the new drummer...well he isn't Jeremy Taggart. Was really disappointed. Super excited to hear they're pressing/pressed Spiritual Machines though and would love a Happiness press as well.
No offence to the band, I’m a fan. But they’ve always sounded horrible live. I’ve seen them 3 times in the late 90s. All three were bad. Been overproduced since day 1.

Another kickstarter edition up...looks promising....but backers bit slow currently....too late in the day, me wonders? Looks and sound like a nice one to go for.
2 x 45 rpm Half and Half Blue/Gold Yellow (400) - plus 100 randomly picked splatter editions.
Claiming to be the only vinyl edition to feature the entire album:-
Mastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound
Pressed by Pirate Pressings (boy aren't they going to be busy!)
The Aural Pleasure Records pressing will be the only vinyl release of the album confirmed to have the full-length album - no longer edited due to time limitations - sourced from an absolutely seamless combination of both the shorter better sounding master and the full-length one intended for digital releases. The better sounding master will be the basis for over 98% of the album, with the excised parts of the recording seamlessly restored to their rightful place

I like this one. I hope more people back it....

I got my shipping notification for Riot Act a couple days ago from CC music. When we asked about the other two that I ordered, they replied that they will ship the 10th.
-
It's still in stock. Just hit the button with the date in it. It should add it to your cart.

I know this is off topic, but I just want to know if these will eventually end up in a store. I held off buying because I thought they'd eventually show up. But now I'm getting kinda worrried. Anyone have any insights....
-
Well.... let me tell you my story.
Placed an order a couple of weeks ago....
after reading posts on here, thought I'd never get this thing.
Cancelled and refunded order 4 days after it was placed.
Deviations showed up today.
I'm confused.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Tool reissues. From the sounds of things they aren't well underway, and Adam Jones has been taking thoughts from lots of people at SHTV including myself and seems to be really noting the information/recommendations. Lots of recommendations for 5.1 which would be aces, but he's a vinyl fan and he's heard a lot of feedback on how to do vinyl properly so hopefully they'll be involved and ensure the remasters are treated with care and not just "180g audiophile whoo hooo yay" marketing BS.
He has liked a lot of the posts supplying insightful information...I recommended using a mastering house that can cut and master in an all analogue chain and suggested: i) Bernie Grundman Mastering (either Bernie or Chris Bellman would be fine) ii) AcousTech Mastering (Kevin Gray or Steve Hoffman with Kevin Gray) and iii) Sterling Sound (Ryan K. Smith who took over from George Marino and now masters in George's old room, Ryan was his protege)
I would easily buy both AAA 2LP vinyl release for stereo and Blu-ray for 5.1 of any of the Tool albums...cost is no barrier when it comes to these works of art.
+1
couldn't of put it any better

Near future = anytime within the next t 10+ years in "TOOL time". Some of us will be walking in canes when these come out....
As mentioned before, I'll believe it when I see it.

How does the Dido sound?
I'll let you know when I crack it open. Bought it for the wife who is not a big fan of vinyl. I can tell you that my Zeppelin III, Peter Gabriel -So, and Dave Brubeck - Time Out sound fanfuckintastic!!!!
On on another note. I contacted VMP about an Ænima press and got a pretty funny but convincing answer denying that they were going to do it. I'm gonna throw my hat behind MoV.....

I think a few companies bought up their existing stock, but it was retailers like Acoustic Sounds. No one today is doing 100% AAA masterings with the kind of name artists that Classic got during their heyday, and (even worse) new reissues from the same artists don't use their plates.
So basically, all their pressings go for high-to-crazy prices now. Not just the Zeppelins ($150 and up) but nearly all the Peter Gabriels... and Genesis... and even stuff like Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, and Dido. (DIDO IS A $250+ RECORD. Wrap your mind around that: https://www.discogs.com/Dido-No-Angel/release/168493 )I actually bought quite a few titles years ago for pretty cheap. They all sound fantastic. Have that Dido too....

Yeah... you now what, you’re right! The anticipation is killing me though. I don’t even know where I’m going play the CD though. No player in the car... my MacBook is on the fritz. ... I guess I’ll stream it.
