I know the chorus is super poppy on this new song Alpha, but I can't help but totally dig it! Im really excited for this release and I'm glad I preordered.

I can't speak for everyone else, but the vagrant/Cobraside pressing is very inferior to the gatefold pressings the band did and seems to be doing again here. I had the other and sold it.

What about a repress of The Dark Knight? That double LP goes for insane amounts of money. With the reissues of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises, I hope we can get TDK too as this I imagine is everyone's favorite.

Nah, just go into it wanting to be entertained for a couple of hours and just enjoy it. Be critical the next time after.

I thought the movie and score are both fantastic. The more I think of the movie and talked with others, the more impressed I sm with it. Like others have said, the undertaking of a film like that is just amazing. All in all, my dad and I came away at 1am on a Wednesday night just amazed at what we saw. And to just think about the possibilities and isolation if space and space travel is just chilling. I think this movie captured that really well. Sure, some of the dialogue and human love stuff isn't the best, but it didn't really ruin the movie for me at all. My biggest complaint really with the soundtrack is the sequencing of it and that you have to get the digital deluxe for some of the best songs and themes and the deluxe then isn't in order once you have it. That's kind of annoying so I just reordered everything as best I could. Sorry for the long post.

I wonder if they have a haze they're going to show off soon. That statement about next week could also mean just that they are almost sold out.

My favorite dessert is ice cream. I'm a big fan of the coldstone mint flavor and mix in some Oreos. If it's at home dessert Ill probably pick Cookies n Cream. I just love having the cookie in the ice cream!

I think I might have to jump in on both the box set and a vinyl pressing whenever that comes around.  This is/was too good.

I'm pleased with the price, Beggars was $17.99  this is $20.  What do you guys think?  Better than the Pylon Records prices for Vheissu and The Artist in the Ambulance (even though they are very nice pressings)

Workhorse/Staple is associated with Vagrant, so it's like they're putting out their own records, Pylon has to license them from Island Records, so there is a fee.  I'm sure that contributes to the price although I don't know how much.

Yep, got the same email, so there is just a listing mistake in the merchline store then. 1000 copies total makes way more sense.

Considering how fast Beggars went and that Thrice has already announced it on their Facebook page, I wouldn't wait too long.

It's weird though that they both list that they are limited to 300...I agree though, there is something weird going on with the one slightly more expensive.
