  1. I love all of their albums...I really hope they all see the light of day someday.  FITF would be fantastic...Hoping that PTF sells out really fast that the powers that be realize that FITF should absolutely get pressed as well, and Heat Fetish, for that matter.  The Bled is such an underrated band.  Still love them and listen to frequently.  Can't wait to spin PTF and hear I Never Met Another Gemini.  I'm going to crank it to 11!!!!

  2. New album is fantastic.  I'm honestly pretty blown away.  Maybe my expectations were too low, but I am really digging this.  The new band members really seem to have given the band new energy.  Production sounds huge and really just excellent.  Agree with others that the only weird thing is the animals interlude diddy.  Can't wait to get the vinyl, going to be awhile though since I a) ordered the sharkbite 3.5 and B) live in California...blah. Oh well, the digital copy will have to hold me over...

  3. There were some people wondering if the box set is legit or not because of the steep price.  I just got mine in yesterday, and I believe if you really love ABR, then it is worth it.  It's done really well.  I'll try to put up pics sometime soon.  But, I mean, it's got a cd with it, and besides the really nice artwork and sleeves, the only other thing it has in it is an exclusive booklet that has extra notes from the band about each song as far as song writing and execution of it in the studio (i.e., stuff no one who doesn't love the band really cares about).  So, yeah, it's really only for the super fans I would guess.  Hope that's helpful for anyone who was on the fence with wondering whether or not to take the plunge on the box set.  I think it's still available.

  4. I saw vinyl at both August Burns Red's booth and Silverstein's.  Looked like ABR had the new one on orange, Leveler on the 2nd press multi-color green/brown.  They also had the christmas album.  Silverstein had the new one and the one before that.  I didn't pay really enough attention to some of the other bands booths as I wasn't looking for vinyl specifically.

  5. Not to make anyone upset or feel that I'm gloating in any way, but I'm just so glad I won the test pressing he gave away in May.  It is #2/10.  It sounds great.  At the time I thought I would play this once and be done, but man, after all of this craziness I'm really glad I just have this test press.  I really hope that this pressing still happens.

  6. Just wanted to say thanks again for all the comments, which did indeed help to make the Gojira TWOAF re-press and FMTS "initial North American press" a reality. (Obligatory pre-order link: http://store.prostheticrecords.com)

Also, the new Scale LP has sold quite well so far, which bodes well for the prospects of offering "Carving" on vinyl later this year. Stay tuned.

Just got my clear/blue haze Scale the Summit LP in the mail today!  Looks excellent!  Can't wait for Carving to go up for order!  Thanks guys.

  7. Cheapest shipping is $11.50.

Also on Amazon, but doesn't specify which variant it is.

I just went with this....the poster is cool and all, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay $13 to ship an LP and poster to California either.  I think both variants are cool, so we'll see what I end up with.
