the joy division super fancy box set fmo rhino that was like $300 does NOT fit in the expedit. my wife and I got a real laugh out of that one. neither does the Radiohead in rainbows box unless you take off the weird outer packaging.

Just wanted to say that this is probably the best record I've heard in quite some time. Really heavy, yet melodic, and really slow band from Dallas TX. I saw em by accident in February and picked up the record and I've probably listened to it about 100 times since. If anyone likes music, you should really check this out. The packaging is very nice (gatefold, w two full color inserts, black vinyl) and its ltd to 500 copies. It's worth every penny. Band rules. Post Valentine's bump - We have about 100 copies left of the blue vinyl, then it's gone. White vinyl silkscreened covers are long gone. Work has begun on album 2. We play noise pop in SF next week then thats it live for a while. There will be a tour of some sort though. Some of the other songs from the record are up on myspace now, as well as some live junk.

yeah, this goes for a lot. i have tarantulas records box set that comes w a silkscreened cover on the actual box, and the bronx LP, the bronx bats 12", the distillers LP and some other misc stuff. thats not for sale. its a pretty rad package though.

thanks! check it - we've got about ten copies or so of the white vinyl left. probably going to take it off the webstore this week, in case anyone wants to pick it up or needs me to hold them one. blue vinyl is going fast too, down to about 100 or so. also - working on some out of town shows (southern california and pac northwest) in case anyone wants to help set something up for us. we will probably have some new shirts soon, and maybe a huge silkscreened poster of the regular album cover too. we're going to post some new live songs from kalx-fm soon too.

over time, the shrink wrap will cause the packaging to slightly warp. again, its minor and probably why youve never noticed it on your uncles iron butterfly LPs you inherited (wait, that was me). the idea behind the BAG UNLIMITED plastic sleeves was to replace the shrink wrap, since they are slightly oversized.

i have an unplayed copy of the first LP w poster on grey vinyl if anyone is interested. i also have a box set of vinyl from the explosion that has vinyl, stickers and a shirt and hat w a screened cover as well. the label (tarantulas) made like 20 of these. if anyone is interested hit me back about that, i can figure out what exactly is in it.
