I missed out on a hell of a deal from Reckless records after someone bought the LP I was after in-store before they processed my online order but I've since managed to score Mikal Cronin's S/T on colored vinyl for $19 (a MAJOR want of mine + a copy sold for $70 on discogs this morning) and Ty Segall's "Horn the Unicorn" on white for $12 from their site. Definitely worth checking from time to time, they seem to get a lot of rad used stuff in.

I've seen so few of them I pulled the trigger on that price. I usually try to bargain shop for stuff like that. You win some you lose some.

Well I missed getting it at a Ty concert by one show. Thanks SXSW and Dallas people, especially the ones that purchased multiple copies.

And when I emailed In The Red about buying one, I apparently just missed it. When I asked about a repress, they said there were no plans for one. So that should solve the "What label was it on?" question.

That being said I hope all copies of this release spontaneously combust simultaneously.

I got my Xiu Xiu Best of from piccadilly in the mail today as well, also in a soft sided envelope. Putting the record in between two sheets of cardboard was a nice thought, but it didn't keep the cornes from getting dinged up.

I got a 10" and 7" from Picadilly yesterday. Also not a fan of their packaging but thankfully no damage to my stuff

Just received an email from Matt stating my shipping was delayed because I requested my Thee Oh Sees and Warm Soda Pentacolor be shipped together. I did request that just never knew if they saw that request. All is good

This is awesome. Of course I'd like to have the $100+ box set. But this new color vinyl remaster with DVD and digital downloads of the demos really is all I would have wanted to begin with

Yes, I got a shipping confirmation a few days ago, and it showed up today.

I never got one. I did inquire about having it shipped with my Warm Soda Pentacolor but never received a response about it.

Got my gold copy today. It lived up to it's name... looks like it was dropped. It's cracked in half on one side. It looks cool enough, but it's one of those color combinations that is probably more for show than for play. It has metallic flecks in the vinyl and I can't imagine this will play quietly.

In any event, I'm hoping that Castle Face has a few of the colored versions set aside as replacements in case something like this happens. Bummer.

my watery love 7" didnt have a sleeve for it which i found odd. the WL LP i was surprised was just that clear sleeve and not a more indepth insert which was odd as well...

My WL 7" also didn't have a sleeve.

There has to be a whole shitload of copies sitting somewhere. I find it hard to believe that all 2500 are taken already.

I keep thinking that after the 100 clear vinyl copies are discovered that the flippers who are left with a maroon color will sell their /2400 7" at a reasonable price. But who knows...

I knew that when they announced the 100 clear vinyl copies the real SDRE fans would be left out in the cold.
