My Drag City pre-sale came into today and was a black copy of course. If I walked into a record store and picked out 10 copies, none of them would be red. That's why I bought a copy from Banquet Records over the weekend that was marked a red copy. I'm hoping it will indeed be red.

I have a feeling there is gonna be a lot more of these than you guys are thinking.

Don't get me wrong.  I'd actually prefer if you exposed it as a fake.  The last thing I want is /50 Ty Segall variant that Drag City decided to secretly or randomly do.  Which is probably what this was.

has anyone posted a photo of the red one? Like where you can see the labels (not just the edge of what could be any record on red vinyl.)?

No. I imagine you read about somebody else that received a black copy in the mail today as well that pre-ordered on the first day

Did Drag City do a mail order variant before with the Hair lp?

Was going to pick this up in the store since it didn't appear there was a variant. Just ordered this from Drag City in hopes it's a Drag City.com variant. I'm sure I missed out on it but Either way, I'll have a kick-ass album.

Took me a while to get into this album. Don't know why. Glad there was still a cool variant around.

Not trolling and not joking. It's their least creative and least memorable album for me, so, I think it's their worst album.

Fair enough I guess. My favorite Pinback album but I guess I just had a difficult time believing someone could consider it the worst.

I picked up the GITD version because it's 180g. If it sucks it'll be the last GITD version of something I buy

The jacket is destroyed. The vinyl record actually has a crease in it. It was sent in a mailer too big with nothing buffering it and it got thrown about something fierce in the mail. Its unlistenable as is.

Wow. I haven't listened to mine yet but the vinyl looks fine and unwarped. I didn't like the no buffer zone with the packaging either, caused my sleeve to get a crease. Did you contact them about this?

got this last week from Amazon. good stuff. light years better than the last 2 Dum Dum Girls records.

I've yet to listen to it, heard a couple of songs that were great. But the last two Dum Dum Girls albums have been amazing.

Yeah my sleeve has a crease in it too from the packaging being damaged. The vinyl seems fine though.

I snagged an Albanian Gunsmith version today... I thought I read they were numbered. I don't see a number anywhere.

Order from them a bit and always get a confirmation even I it gets canceled. I've gotten cancelation emails up to three days after I ordered, but hopefully everyone here gets one.

Looks like they took it off their site at 8 am their time. I bet that's when they open and probably took it down because they sold out overnight. I probably missed out

Ordered one yesterday as well

Just a heads up for anyone who hasn't ordered from Reckless before, their online stock does not update in real time and can be pretty slow to update so they have to cancel orders on rarer things. Not sure how many they got but if you really want one of these you might still want to keep your eyes open for it.

I ordered about 2 hours ago and got a confirmation email. Hope that means something...
