Get that emo tag out of here.

lssr_ttrgrmmtn reacted to Derek™ in PO: toe. - Hear You (Topshelf Records)
And you obviously aren't aware of what the "emo" genre entails.

Hey Pianu, tell me how you really feel.

Sounds to me like your grasp of You're vs. Your is on par with your genre confusion.

Christ, tell me about it. We're talking about a spontaneous amount of butthurt that transcends most VC cry fests. The salt in those tears is just about palpable. Are you going through some shit at home, Pianu?

Seriously. Wikipedia is hardly the end-all source for something like this, but please; read the first sentence.
Slapping a new genre on a band based off their live tendencies - which, by the way, the vast majority of their fans won't get to experience - is absolutely ridiculous. I will gladly accept that Toe perform like "an emo band" or whatever, but please don't pretend that it changes their musical genre. Unless they belt out lyrics exclusively at live shows, I don't understand how this is even a topic of debate at this point.

Careful there, Glass Realms – you'll run out of downvotes for today if you keep up that spree. I'd feel guilty soaking all of them up from you.
Fortunately, I don't think anyone was disputing that the band releases good music. So at least we've got that going in the thread. We're just getting into the semantics on whether or not they release quality emo, I guess.

lssr_ttrgrmmtn reacted to Derek™ in PO: Coheed & Cambria - The Color Before the Sun
What if the new record is secretly, conceptually just balls? Like, the band is writing a concept album where they exist in an alternate universe where they've lost all ability to write engaging lyrics or instrumental passages. The graphic novel could just be Claudio and gang laughing profusely for 80 panels, with a final shot of them carrying money bags into a bank.
Just let it sink in.

Taco 'bout an underwhelming press. Sounds a little flat.

lssr_ttrgrmmtn reacted to vitriol in WTB: A Wilhelm Scream "Diver" 7"
Got my "Boat Builders" and "Number One" records today! Thanks, sugareggs.
On that note, I'm still looking to score a copy of "Diver." Get at me, y'all.

Bump. Updated thread title to reflect my wants! Diver may be on the table, still looking for the other two.

No preference. I'll take whatever I can get my hands on.

Been a long time. I've been looking for A Wilhelm Scream's "Diver" 7 inch for a long while now. Probably a long shot. Anybody got a copy they'd like to sell me?
I'd also be interested in buying the "Number One" and "Boat Builders" 7 inches!

https://delusionsofgrandeur22.bandcamp.com/album/efficacy
and
https://delusionsofgrandeur22.bandcamp.com/album/reclamation
are now free/NYP on bandcamp
both are really good, Reclamation was one of the top heavy albums of 2014, IMHO, so definitely worth checking out if you like heavy stuff. Besides, they have a track titled 'Spawn of Sagan'

lssr_ttrgrmmtn reacted to ajhall04 in Purge/Doubles Set Sale: Will Take Offers! Trades, etc! Check it!
Using my discogs link right now. Purging and getting rid of some doubles.
I have positive feedback and I will do my absolute darndest to not charge over 4 dollars for shipping. I am pretty easy to work with. Throw an offer, trade, insult, or general conversation my way. Much appreciated. Also, my tradelist isn't off limits, just know I may or may not sell/trade some things.
I will try and throw in freebies (Stickers, Records, Advice, Drawings from a 4 year old, etc) I package in boxes, with backing, and reinforced corners, sealed with transparent packing tape, and a Paypal Printed Media Mail Label. Smoke free home.
Edit: Threw some prices on these (most) if that helps. Not set in stone. I tried to make them super reasonable. Don't like it, shoot me a message. I'll beat prices if you happen to find a comparable for sale. Thanks!
Will beat any of those prices! Just ask! 4 dollar flat shipping via media mail. Please take a browse! PM me here for purchase. Thanks friends. Tradelist is available for some things, just ask. Thanks!

Of course! I rationed it out and finished it Sunday night.

Other than Game of Thrones, The Knick has got to be one of the best live-action TV programs of all time.
The soundtrack is dope too.

They're in the mirthmobile, on their way back from a show at The Gasworks.

lssr_ttrgrmmtn reacted to codeine in PO: Such Gold - The New Sidewalk
Just a case of the vocal minority, I'm afraid. The people who like it enjoy it, those who don't, complain.

*Looks left and right to make sure there are no haters around...*
I liked 'Misadventures' more than all their old stuff, and so far I think the new stuff is just as good, or even better than 'Misadventures.' Progression is nice.
I actually liked the first track released a little more than this second one upon first listen.
I didn't like the 2 tracks they released in between records, though. (Choosing Cages and Framed.)
