  4. Experimental post-hardcore band La Dispute will release their fourth full-length album, entitled "Rooms of the House" on March 18, 2014, and will be touring throughout the US in support of the new album throughout Spring 2014 with Pianos Become the Teeth and Mansions. The record will be released through their own, newly-created label: Better Living. It was recorded and mixed by Will Yip at Studio 4 in Philadelphia, and mastered at The Lodge by Emily Lazar. Along with the album itself, La Dispute will also release a companion book which details the album’s writing and recording process. Any additional information, including pre-orders and track listing, will be updated here in the OP as it becomes available. From the band: "Greetings everyone - First and foremost, we would like to extend our collective gratitude to all of you for sticking with us. Although quiet, we’ve been quite busy this past year. It’s a bit of a blur to be honest - (the start / a month long cabin retreat / several weeks of discussions / studio b / first, second, third, fourth, and fifth drafts / why is it still snowing / countless demos / a few more days in the studio / kevin’s in the boat again / better living / two more weeks in the studio / scrap this song / recycle that song / trevor / studio c / actually – on second thought, scrap that song too / pool night / studio v / el limon / rearranging the living room / fireplace / fire pit / the library / the rx-11 / that bird / quiet going up the stairs please / chopping wood / the finish) - but we’re finally there and ready to fill in the blanks. We proudly present to you: Rooms of the House." UPDATE 1/14/2014: Track Listing: 1. Hudsonville, MI 1956 2. First Reactions after Falling Through the Ice 3. Woman (In Mirror) 4. 10. FFO: Brand New, The Manchester Orchestra, Balance and Composure, Seahaven California indie-rockers Of Us Giants are set to release their debut full-length album, Nova Scotia, on January 28, 2014, with a vinyl release to immediately follow on February 11. The group released a six-song EP, Stitch, in early 2012. You can stream the title track, which features Lindsey Pavao, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9xcOYZSRj8&feature=youtu.be From Under the Gun Review: "Musically, ”Nova Scotia” is on point. Initially, the song comes off as an informal tip of the hat to some of the influential singer-songwriters of the past – such as Conor Oberst and Elliott Smith – before transforming into a full band jam that displays the group’s heavy and soulful take on the indie-rock genre." The record will be pressed as follows: Blue /100 Coke Bottle Clear /100 Mystery Mixed Color /300 It can be pre-ordered at any of the following locations: (CD/all vinyl options) http://songsfromtheroad.storenvy.com/ - United States (coke bottle clear) http://flythelight.storenvy.com/ - United States (mixed) http://cthrecords.bigcartel.com/ - United Kingdom All pre-orders will receive downloads of the first four singles as they are released and a full album download on release day. 11. This sounds like it's probably a blast. I'll try to help. For the emo stuff, ordering some stock from Count Your Lucky Stars and Tiny Engines is a must. They both have really good catalogs and have put out a lot of awesome releases by up-and-coming bands. Releases I'd recommend would be Foxing; Football, etc; Annabel; and Joi De Vivre from CYLS, and Monument; Run, Forever; Latitudes and Longitudues; and Restorations from Tiny Engines. Super cool guys too and easy to deal with. Definitely get some stock of the Midnight Souls album that was released last year. Absolute masterpiece and I'm kind of bummed they broke up. If I walked into a record store and saw that, I'd be stoked. The first four you mentioned (Ebullition, Topshelf, No Sleep, and RFC) are definitely labels to get records from. No Sleep especially has been cranking out decent records one after the other, with the occasional slip-up and the occasional classic. 6131 Records and Animal Style just released the new Better Off and Courtesy Drop records, respectively, that are both very good. Unfortunately (and I'm excluding the main, obvious ones like Deathwish), most of the better hardcore/punk/grind/screamo labels (and this is just my opinion) are based in Europe. I'm talking about ones like React With Protest, Throatruiner, and Dog Knights - especially Dog Knights, among others. The only exception to that might be IFB Records, which has a huge distro list of obscure 90's and 00's hardcore/black metal/grind albums with a few emo and even pop punk albums thrown in. Also, you can't go wrong with Pure Noise, even though they're not in the hardcore/punk/emo category you mentioned.
