  1. Yeah, they did press Apollo 18. I bid and won it from ebay but the bastard never sent it to me. I got a refund but I'm still pissed about it. Rounder Records is taking preorders for The Else: (cut and pasted from http://tmbw.net/wiki/Main_Page) In a June 4, 2007 MySpace bulletin, John Flansburgh revealed that The Else would also be released as a gatefold vinyl LP by Rounder Records. The last TMBG albums to be released on LP were Apollo 18 in Germany (1992), and Flood in the US (1990).
  2. Good call on Butch Vig. He produced the Pumpkins first album in Madison.
  3. Anyone ever try chronological? I tried to chrono my CD's one time. That was no good.
  4. Mine: Alpha by decades: 50's/60's/70's 80's 90's/current Alpha soundtracks Alpha classical Alpha single named artists (Herb Alpert, Dean Martin etc) Alpha singles Cat. No. Grand Royal Cat. No. Wax Trax! Chronological Beastie Boys 10"/7" & 45's aren't organized (Box sets were but are no longer their own category)
  5. Anyone know the best place to get release info for specific vinyl releases? Like per Band per album per release per color? Thanks a bunch Milton.
  6. Anyone here collect Wax Trax! or Grand Royal releases?

  8. I think saying a band is overrated is different than saying they suck. I'd say the Foo Fighters are overrated. I'd say the same thing for Nirvana and Kurt Cobain in general. But that in no way implies they aren't talented musicians.
  9. Yeah. This place is great for everybody here I've come in contact with so far. Variety variety variety. Open minded people make for smart and interesting conversations. I can dig it.
  10. Albums: Sean Na Na - Dance 'Til Your Baby Is A Man The Promise Ring - 30° Everywhere Song: Dead Flowers - Townes Van Zandt (Lebowski soundtrack)
  11. "Punk" lol. Yeah, punk more of an attitude than a genre I guess is what I meant. Who knows. (that's 2 now)
  12. I agree. The new Doc Oct album is pretty weak. But in all fairness how could you follow that album? I've got a repressing of Critical Beatdown and I just burned it onto a cd. Freakin' love that album. Give the Drummer Some is key. (I should have renamed this thread Kool Keith)
  13. Har Mar Superstar - You Can Feel Me 311 - Music 311 - Grass Roots Old 97's - Too Far to Care The Rushmore soundtrack
  14. Unsealed unless I have more than 1 copy. I dig the inserts.
  15. Man, my roommates can't get into Keith. I'm nuts over Dr. Dooom. What was he like when you met him?
