  1. Richmond, VA punks LANDMINES have released a song for free download that will be on their brand new full length "COMMERCE & MARX" on Paper+Plastick records http://store.paperandplastick.com/products/11420
  2. i definitely wouldn't blame the label for this. The record was somewhat rushed. The release date and tour for the record were looming on the horizon when it was being produced. Also, being the first pressing of the first release for the label, there's some growing pains.
  3. ...at punknews.org. just go over there and hit up the landmines profile to hear the entire record. also, if you'd like the lyrics to read along with it, we have them posted over on our myspace http://www.myspace.com/landminesrock enjoy......i hope
  4. one of the contests on the vinyl file is for a Landmines test press, and for what it's worth to anyone out there, it's 1 of only 2 test presses made for that record. I know sometimes bands will make up to 5 or 10 test presses to send out. So whoever wins that will be the only person besides me who owns it.
  5. it is true about black vinyl generally sounding better though. i remember back when At The Drive-in came out with In Casino/Out, it came out on transparent vinyl and sounded like shit. i have friends who have similar stories about splatter vinyl. colored vinyl does look really cool, i'll give it that.
  6. oh and also, the record will soon be distro-ed through No Idea and through this here Vinyl Collective if that makes it easier for anyone
  7. OWTH is probably my favorite band right now. can't wait for the fest so i can see them again.
  8. that was me! i emailed you guys! right on, thanks for that. it's kinda awesome that it never made it out of the warehouse, but at the same time it sucks that on the release day people who don't work there couldn't buy the record in the area. oh well. from what i've been told the online ordering should be pretty quick, and the deal with the record and shirt is a really good price.
  9. it should be in most of the mom and pop record stores in the bigger towns. it's being distro-ed through RED if that helps any.
  10. someone emailed us about this. apparently newbury comics ordered 5 copies, but they never made it out of the warehouse. the warehouse employees there get to buy stuff before the release date.
