Serious question from someone who wants to learn. I don't have one, but are Ion's really cheap/bad? Why/how is it destroying the records slowly but surely?

Great game by the Isles tonight.

Great bounce back win by the Avs last night. 13-2 can't complain about that. Isles need to break this two game losing streak and win a couple before the road trip ends. They are killing me, the Avs are keeping me sane.

Outside of the BK hipsters there will be a lot of people coming from LI given that they're going to be a much better team than they've been the last handful (more than a handful) of years. Right now is the middle awkward almost there period of the rebuild. Garth's still got some moves up his sleeve and they've still got plenty of young guys to bring up (Strome, Poulock, Reinhart, etc.) It's gonna be fun and people will be there because of that

Horrible night of hockey for me. Rangers win & Avs lose. Varly was a little off, but can't expect him to be 100% on every game he starts. Outside of that and a pretty sloppy first half, the Avs picked it up and made it really interesting after the Preds made it 4-2. Hell of a game by Matt Duchene too. They'll pick up the pieces on Friday and hopefully piece together a bounce back win.

There are so many good records here I just do not know how much a lot of them are worth so I don't know what to offer. Wavering Radiant & the DEP Mike Patton EP catch my eye in particular.

How about that missed goal in OT? Only caught the 3rd period and OT but it was an awesome game to watch.

I'm new to the forums and figured I'd sort of introduce myself sort of. Hey, I'm a huge Avs & Islanders fan. Been an Islanders fan since birth (it's been hard but it's getting so much better) and grew up an Avs fan when I started watching Peter Forsberg dominate as a young impressionable 7 year old. Been playing hockey for 15 years also. Looking forward to interacting with/sharing my thoughts with everyone and whatnot.

The Islanders need a goalie pretty badly. Nabby is old, Poulin is shaky (but he did have a REALLY impressive game on Saturday against the Bruins). Throw a goalie in net who can steal a few games for them and another solid D-man and they're looking great. Out of the 9 losses (6 regular, 3 OT) they've got, 7 of them have been one goal losses. But yeah, in short they need a goalie.
