Oh totally. I was drawn for the Menomena and stayed around to see what was next. Then went to the Crate sub to see if there was anything else that cropped up... Just cancelled that as I haven't made a buy in months. 

 

It's nice that the Crate is an option now. Would totally re-sub for another release if they put one out i HAD to have.

...or just buy it from the store the next month. The AOTM are pressed in such high numbers now they are always available there. That's what I do if there was one I really wanted, which honestly hasn't happened since Menomena. And that was only so I didn't have to put wear on my og pressing.

I signed up just for the Crate Subscription. I don't usually care for the AOTM. I usually pickup some exclusives or curated add ons so it's basically like prepaying for shipping.

I was just getting ready to start this.

For those who ordered the red vinyl through Temporary Residence - looking at my order on their website (placed back in January), there's no indication that I had ordered the red vinyl; it just says "The Wilderness 2XLP". I don't recall being given an option between red and black. Their website says, "Limited edition colored vinyl available while supplies last."

 

So, is it safe to assume that all early pre-orders defaulted to red? Does anybody's order page specifically state red vinyl?

I'm pretty sure the red was $24 and the black was $20.

The Blue Marvel limited edition with the Bonus 12" is in the Vinyl Me Please store right now if any of you are members. You may be able to sign up for Vinyl Me Please crate for $6 dollars a month and that should give you access to the member store. That is what I do every month.

Wasn't the 12" limited to 2000 copies and only from AK? Or did I misunderstand that.

Not sure if you're having a little jab at me or not, but it honestly doesn't make sense from any angle – even if it wasn't his listing and he's had the album on his own want-list for a while, why would he bother to share the hype and promote additional bidding, like Gordon pointed out, you know?  It's gif worthy any way you cut it.

I never take jabs on the forum. Not my thing. Half serious about my comment. I'm on the fence about whether it's his listing. Mainly thinking it is because, just like everyone else here, I wouldn't share the link if it was something I wanted that badly.

Regardless of how probable, I just like to pretend that it's the OP's listing.

DeepDiscount has this on the CD marketplace for $8.14 now, I am pretty sure we are all going to receive a CD...

It's not possible they had both the vinyl and CD? And more than 20+ tried to order the vinyl, maybe they did have it listed correctly it just sold out.
