Oh no... I bought two copies and sold one for a profit to cover my $200 loss from the initial purchase... I am such a dick!
Grow up. Don't any of you own a business? Or do you just work for the man your whole life and just take your paycheck and say to yourself "well, I guess that's it"... and don't save yourself some money?
This band sells you the same shit over and over taking money for nothing and you complain about the one eBay sale?
Yeah.... have fun with that $200 LOSS. I broke even.

Two jerks have this listed on eBay already! $399 BIN and $299 bidding haha
One of those jerks was me. I just sold my second copy for $400 (it was the Buy It Now auction), which covers the price of my personal copy (which I now own for basically free). Welcome to American capitalism.

SOLD OUT.
And with that, I am also out.

4 left folks. If you want a box set and you have been a hold out, you better get it now.
It only took 36 hours to sell all of these at $200 a pop! Pretty impressive actually.
EDIT: Who the F gave me a -1 for this post? Didn't realize I would upset you by updating everyone.

55 left for any last remaining holdouts. These will probably be gone by noon tomorrow.

74 box sets left.

170 left. Almost down to the last 25%.
-
202 left.
-
243 left. Over half have been sold in 12 hours.
-
In less than 15 minutes it dropped another 6 down to 369 left. At this rate they will be gone before morning.
-
Looks like there are 376 left. These will be gone within the next 12-24 hours easily. The email came in late here on the east coast so a lot of people will wake up in the morning and buy any that may be left.
I will post the pic soon.

How do you know 100 have already been sold?
By the way, I did buy one the second I got the email. The vinyl copy of OOTV and Red Star alone is worth my $200.
And to the person talking about Red Star being digital only, I do have a promo CD copy of the Red Star EP with the cover slip and everything. If you want to see a pic, let me know.
Question: formerly ultra-collectible bands whose stuff isn't nearly as popular anymore?

Funny, I saw the title of this thread and Oasis was the first band that came to mind. BUT.... the vinyl actually still sells fairly well... it's the rest of their promo stuff (CD's, etc) that has really dropped off a cliff. Yes, overall they are down in value, but some stuff still is retaining value.
I think once enough time passed people started to realize that anything past Be Here Now (or The Masterplan B-side album) was really just sh*t music. Their original stuff still sells well, but anything they did after 1998 is where the price drops really are.
I run oasiscollectors.com by the way, just so you know I'm not just BS'ing my way through a post.
