  1. I really love playing "Oh, Common Life" then lead into "Glowing Crosses". I think that setup works incredibly well.
  2. Can someone hook me up with the bonus songs? Or send me a link? Love you all. <3
  3. Last announcement was the acoustic basement stage.
  4. I'm originally from Mississippi and we do this weird thing where any darker soda is just called a "coke". Doesn't matter if its Pepsi, Dr Pepper or actually Coca-Cola. It's really rather strange. As well, I think supper is my preferred nomenclature for evening meal as well. Once again, I'm pretty sure it's a regional thing.
  5. Usually the same ones who say "There's this amazing band called La Dispute..."
  6. When customers call me "young man". Or when I'm ringing up something at the register that doesn't have a price. "OH IT DIDN'T RING UP IT MUST BE FREE". (Also, not a phrase but a serious pet peeve. If a customer waggles their finger at me with a "come here", I will resent having to helping you. I'm not your dog.)
  7. I saw Weezer last night and was left a little cold. Now because it was free I can't complain whatsoever. Just bummed they didn't play any material from Pinkerton. As well, the band isn't very energetic at all. They all kind of just stood in their spots and played. Not a criticism, I don't expect to see letlive. style antics or anything. Just very different from the smaller bands I'm used to seeing. All that said, Surf Wax America sounded fantastic. That was definitely the highlight.
  8. Send me offers. Played twice, still in perfect condition.
  9. This week's announcement is awesome. THE ACOUSTIC BASEMENT STAGE Allison Weiss Anthony Raneri (Bayside) Bad Rabbits Better Off Brian Marquis Buttons Divided Heaven Elder Brother Front Porch Step I The Mighty Light Years Mike Herrera (MXPX) Nick Santino (A Rocket To The Moon) PJ Bond Rob Lynch Tess Dunn That’s Not My Baby Young Statues
  10. This is my favorite album of the year thus far. It'll probably stay that way. At least until the new Say Anything drops.
  11. This has been my favorite band for years now. That won't change. Excited for this release
  12. I have a twice played copy of the Grass Green. I really like the album a lot, but I might let it go if the price is good. What are you looking at spending?
  13. This is my favorite Fireworks album. Woods is easily one of the best songs they've ever written.
  14. Totally makes sense, I was just curious. Doesn't make sense to have a DL code AND the CD, haha.
  15. I also got the 180 Gram yesterday and was a little bummed when it wasn't a gatefold. Sounds amazing though and the artwork is incredible. That said, did anyone get their CD with the package? It was in the product description. "This offering comes with a Oh, Common Life CD and an 11x17 album art poster. The vinyl also contains a digital download card and sticker sheet."
  16. I love that Greg's Last Day is on here. That song hits me in the feels. And is probably one of my favorite TSL tracks honestly.
  17. Just curious, I actually own a Crosley from the late 70's or early 80's. it's not my primary set up of course, but my grandmother gave it to me not long after I got into vinyl. Are the Crosley players from that era considered "okay" or even "good"? Once again, not an urgent question because I have another setup, but I'm curious.
