Email [email protected]
I included a screenshot of my paypal invoice. I don't know if you have to go that far, but that's what I did.
Yeah, definitely email them and at least include your order number or something.
Okay I did with a screenshot. I'll let y'all know what happens. I'm pretty sure I was in the first 100 too so I'll be bummed if something happened.

We are getting it!
As a matter of fact, I just got the email.
I haven't gotten a single email since the paypal confirmation that I paid way back when I ordered the box set. what do y'all think I should do?
-
Well I emailed through the site to double check mine order was alright and everything. I will update when (if) I hear back.
Side note, Manchester played an event on my campus yesterday evening and hardly anyone showed so like 40 of us got a semi-private show. They played a lot of Cope, and it was fantastic, so if you get the chance to see the tour take advantage. This album is so great.

Just got this email from the band.
Hey everybody,
We just got an update about our deluxe vinyl bundle and they are telling us that it’s going to be shipping to us later than we had hoped. THIS BUMS ME OUT. I am sure you are also pretty ticked. We have put so much time and effort into making sure that these box sets are legitimately dope, and hearing this news is a big let down.
This kind of thing is the worst stuff to have to relay to your fans and I greatly appreciate your understanding. I guess that somewhere between making this box really unique and the factory being overloaded with work for Record Store Day, that it just won’t be here by the time we were told. At this point, we are hoping that they will not be delayed longer than a few weeks after release date; and we will keep you up to date as soon as we find out anything. We will make sure that you all receive your downloadable album the day of, if not the day before.
Lastly, thank you so much for your support in purchasing our deluxe vinyl bundle and anything from this band. Like everything involved with Manchester Orchestra, this has been a real labor of love and we are dying to share it with you. Thank you again for understanding.

Eek deff ordered and paid for it the day it went on sale but I didn't get this email. Kinda worried?
-
Is this the tour press?
nah there is no tour press. It's just black.
-
I am seeing them tonight, is there any special merch on this tour?
Nope there isn't sadly. The records are just normal black. The merch overall didn't impress me, but say hey to Mansions! They are awesome and so nice. (Plus Doom Loop is fantastic)
Edit: I saw them opening night in Greensboro.

That was a great interview. It's always nice (especially with a band like LD) to have some insight to frame the songs.
I really liked it. I've personally been having a hard time getting into the album, partially because I really liked Wildlife and they are almost opposite in a lot of ways. Hearing how Jordan approached everything, seeing them live, and replaying it though is slowly getting it there for me.

Here's a pretty cool article about the writing process and a look into the album concept.

Here's another that is an interview explaining the album and such. I like this a lot, but I hope he does a Conversations track for RotH.

As far as the album goes, eh...not really blown away as of first listen. Wildlife had me completely blown away, told all of my friends about the album. This is just okay.
agreed.
-
The more I play it the more I like it.
And that day, how you said "I just don't know," and I'd promised
We'd rearrange things to fix the mess I made here
But I guess in the end we just move furniture around. -
Read that AV Club write-up.
yeah! I just mean as well as Wildlife. Sorry.
-
Really did not like the new track. Just need to hear it all in sequence though
Yeah, I'm reserving judgment until I hear the song in context with the rest of the album. On its own, I don't really care for it.
Those are good points. I hope it tells a story like they did on Wildlife.
-
I know for a fact I won't be listening to it again. I'll keep jamming "Stay Happy There" though. That song is awesome.
I don't know sometimes songs grow on me and they're my favorite band, but nothing about it caught my attention. The recording even sounded bad honestly.
At least we have Stay Happy... I heard from a friend who tour manages for La Dis that they picked the worst songs (in his opinion) to release as singles so there's hope!

When I saw them here in Charleston, back in November, their backdrop on stage had the word "Cope" written on it. So it's a good chance that's what it's called. Also, they played a few new tracks and talked about a new album a lot. So it's possible it could be coming sooner?
I was at that show! I was so bummed they kicked everyone out of the venue right after because it was my 21st birthday. Then walking back from the bars at like 2am we ran into Andy who was with Nathan Hussey of All Get Out! Turns out Andy and I have the same birthday and his crew made me take a picture with my ID. Best birthday ever.
I'm so pumped for this tour. I got the box. Who's going to the Charlotte date?
-
Unpopular opinion but I'm really not a fan of For Mayor in Splitsville. Anyone else?
Seems like a lot of people really dig it so far.
-
Track listing is up on their site:
Rooms of the House, 2014
-
i commend your looking out for everyone, but soundstagedirect still has $40 copies when i checked two days ago. maybe that has changed since then... but yeah
Thanks! It seemed kinda high for a black copy anyways.
-
I just mean that there have to be better songs. Stay Happy There is a lot more constant in sound than most of their songs. I'm just glad it (the single) sounds similar to Somewhere at the Bottom.
But hey what's a record release on this site without me managing to instigate an epically long, unnecessary debate?
-
-
I wish they would pick better songs to release as singles. For instance, Harder Harmonies for Wildlife? Not even top 5 on that record. There are WAY better songs on Rooms of the House, not that I don't love Stay Happy There. Oh well...
Is it March yet?
-
Anyone think they book they said they are releasing with it will be like the Touche books?
too excited. I already bought tickets to their Atlanta show.
-
Will Mansions finally blow up after this tour?
I hope so. They deserve more attention.
-
I'm pretty sure most of the discussion revolved around In-N-Out.
aw then I must have missed a page. damnit.

Any updates on the deluxe package? I'm moving out of my apartment in 10days and panicked about getting the package!
