  1. Okay I did with a screenshot. I'll let y'all know what happens. I'm pretty sure I was in the first 100 too so I'll be bummed if something happened.
  2. I haven't gotten a single email since the paypal confirmation that I paid way back when I ordered the box set. what do y'all think I should do?
  3. Well I emailed through the site to double check mine order was alright and everything. I will update when (if) I hear back. Side note, Manchester played an event on my campus yesterday evening and hardly anyone showed so like 40 of us got a semi-private show. They played a lot of Cope, and it was fantastic, so if you get the chance to see the tour take advantage. This album is so great.
  4. Nope there isn't sadly. The records are just normal black. The merch overall didn't impress me, but say hey to Mansions! They are awesome and so nice. (Plus Doom Loop is fantastic) Edit: I saw them opening night in Greensboro.
  5. just updated my tradelist for the first time in awhile

  6. I really liked it. I've personally been having a hard time getting into the album, partially because I really liked Wildlife and they are almost opposite in a lot of ways. Hearing how Jordan approached everything, seeing them live, and replaying it though is slowly getting it there for me.
  7. Here's another that is an interview explaining the album and such. I like this a lot, but I hope he does a Conversations track for RotH. http://noisey.vice.com/blog/la-dispute-give-a-guided-tour-through-rooms-of-the-house
  8. The more I play it the more I like it. And that day, how you said "I just don't know," and I'd promised We'd rearrange things to fix the mess I made here But I guess in the end we just move furniture around.
  9. Those are good points. I hope it tells a story like they did on Wildlife.
  10. I don't know sometimes songs grow on me and they're my favorite band, but nothing about it caught my attention. The recording even sounded bad honestly. At least we have Stay Happy... I heard from a friend who tour manages for La Dis that they picked the worst songs (in his opinion) to release as singles so there's hope!
  11. I was at that show! I was so bummed they kicked everyone out of the venue right after because it was my 21st birthday. Then walking back from the bars at like 2am we ran into Andy who was with Nathan Hussey of All Get Out! Turns out Andy and I have the same birthday and his crew made me take a picture with my ID. Best birthday ever. I'm so pumped for this tour. I got the box. Who's going to the Charlotte date?
  12. Unpopular opinion but I'm really not a fan of For Mayor in Splitsville. Anyone else? Seems like a lot of people really dig it so far.
  13. Track listing is up on their site: Rooms of the House, 2014 Hudsonville, MI 1956 First Reactions After Falling Through The Ice Woman (In Mirror) Scenes From Highways (1981-2009) For Mayor In Splitsville 35 Stay Happy There The Child We Lost 1963 Woman (Reading) Extraordinary Dinner Party Objects In Space
  14. Thanks! It seemed kinda high for a black copy anyways.
  15. I just mean that there have to be better songs. Stay Happy There is a lot more constant in sound than most of their songs. I'm just glad it (the single) sounds similar to Somewhere at the Bottom. But hey what's a record release on this site without me managing to instigate an epically long, unnecessary debate?
  16. If anyone is still looking for a black copy, I have one on hold at the record store by me. It's $50 from them and I'll sell at cost with whatever shipping is. It seems pricey but I'll send receipt pics too, not trying to flip it! Also, HOLY SHIT this thread is still going? I'm impressed.
  17. I wish they would pick better songs to release as singles. For instance, Harder Harmonies for Wildlife? Not even top 5 on that record. There are WAY better songs on Rooms of the House, not that I don't love Stay Happy There. Oh well... Is it March yet?
  18. Anyone think they book they said they are releasing with it will be like the Touche books? too excited. I already bought tickets to their Atlanta show.
