Never saw this thread, sorry buddy. I'm excited for the new album, I really loved the new single "black". Along with the new album, there's limited reissues of the old ones.. I fucking ordered everything. Excited to see him in a couple months at the Troubadour.

The Soft Moon presents Deeper, their third and most ambitious album to date. This Special Edition version includes a one-sided 7″ with the song, “Never,” unavailable digitally or physically anywhere else.
- This item is a Pre-Order. The Release Date is March 31st, 2015
His other two releases have limited reissues now available on the Captured Tracks store.

i do love this album, and have been meaning to pick it up, but for some reason I keep waiting to grab it under 30 bucks. Dont think thats going to happen so might need to buy it. But then again, dont wanna deal with SRC...
I got the first pressing (black) just a couple months ago for $20 on ebay. There's hope, don't give in just yet

The first two songs are fucking terrible, I almost stopped listening at that point I was so dissapointed. Glad I listened to the whole album though, still pretty good. I'll have to say though I've been liking their releases less and less each time since Red of Tooth. I'm just so accustomed to their old western/ johnny cash sounding songs it's harder to get into this new stuff. It's still MBD, just doesn't seem to have that certain charm they once had.

To anyone that pre-ordered the pinkshinyultrablast.... did you get any kind of order confirmation? All I got was an paypal receipt and no word from them.

It's a solid album, I have white version myself and their last LP Teenagers. They play all the time here around LA, great live show. Actually I'm seeing them this Saturday with Nothing.

Snack: Hot Fries and airheads.
Tearjerk: Arrested for the second time sophmore year for the mary jane. Was on probation and cleaning up the sides of roads for most of my high school career.

If only they'd use that money to do something worthwhile...like repress "Hi, Everything's Great" or press "Let Me Come Home"
I've been waiting on those represses myself. I recently just passed on a test pressing of "Hi, Everything's Great"... not really into test presses. I like having the album art and all that crap.
I've been waiting for the IARB repress, this is crap though.

Just saw them last week. Of course they would release this shit AFTER I see them. Whatever.... It was a great show and I have the regular black version I bought for like $6 a couple years ago.

Still no update on the Translating The Name pressing? That's the album that all started it all over 10 years ago, hope they'd hurry up with this. To people in SoCal, they just announced another show with Anthony at the Observatory Mon, Jan 19th. Tix go on sale tomorrow, I'm definitely going and I'll be screaming like a little girl the whole time.

Anyone else see the Tamaryn news??
"I've made a new album with a new sound and new people. Rex will no longer be apart of the live show and therefore I will no longer play the songs we wrote together. His guitar sound was the epicenter of our band until now. Rex is inimitable and therefore irreplaceable. NEW ERA. See you there."
Sucks, but I totally understand. The two LP's are great but sound very similar, so I think they needed to make some drastic moves to make this third one more exciting. I'll be going to their last show with Rex here in LA, sad face. The question is.... Will Tamaryn still be a Shoegaze/Dream-pop band without Rex?

That went quick. Glad I already have this...

Anyone else have an issue with the blue vinyl? The last couple songs on both sides has some nasty shit going on in the background on mine.
So I exchanged mine for another copy and it has the same exact problem! I got it from urban outfitters, maybe they got a bad batch? This problem ruins the piano theme. Any attempt to get this resolved with SRC would be futile. I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing this.

I have a few local spots that are great.
Origami Vinyl, Echo Park - Los Angeles - Indie store. Not a very big store, but for my tastes it has a lot of what I want. They have great bands play there in the loft and have a vinyl club every tuesday at the bar across the street. Just a great vinyl community.
Mono Records, Echo Park - Los Angeles - Punk/Hardcore record store with a good selection of used classic rock and jazz albums.
Permanent Records - Highland Park - Los Angeles - Garage Rock/lofi/Punk store. Apparently Ty Segall and Marc Maron hang out here.
Vacation Vinyl - Silver Lake - Los Angeles - Metal/Noise store. If you're into some loud crazy shit, this store is for you.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this. I thought the last album was a little forgettable, but I love the first two. I feel like I saw a song was posted, I'll have to track it down.
Yeah I feel the same. I just listened to the new single "straight" from the album and.... well.... meh. Kinda want to hear more songs before ordering, that bundle does look good though. I just bought tickets to see them in March next year, so that's cool at least.

This is exactly how I feel about it. I don't really want to listen to it until my copy arrives and I can fully appreciate the album as a whole.
Personally, I don't have any problems with any of the Circa albums. They all have their own special elements that make them good, but nothing will ever hold a place in my heart quite like Juturna and On Letting Go. Those are the ones I am most emotionally attached to.
This. I listened to the one single and got hyped, but waiting on my "bumblebee" as well to sit down and soak it all in.
I as well love all the albums. I followed Anthony from Saosin to Circa and remember seeing them in like 2004 or 2005 in Orlando at The Social, which holds like 200 people. I remembered they opened up with "In Fear and Faith" and shit sent chills down my spine it was so good. People like to talk shit about Violent Waves, but I love that album. "The Lottery" I think is one of their best songs from VW and from what I can tell it seems like the new album has more of that vibe going on.

I've gotten at least 5 newsletters since my order was placed, do they send out a shipment notification?
I got an email the next day saying my record was backordered (when I ordered it, it was in stock) and I had to wait for the next shipment at the end of december. So, I told them to cancel. Well, today my record showed up... no shipping notice or word back from customer service.
I've ordered from Insound 3-4 times with no huge complaints. They normally resolve whatever issue I'm having fairly quickly.

It's looking like you're right on this! Bummer. I was hoping it would be available soon.
It is available. Try urban outfitters.

Jesus Fucking Christ. Someone on here made a PO: post of the new album... I listened... and jesus fucking christ is right, it's so fucking terrible.

Kinda pricey, but I've been waiting for this to be repressed. Such a good album.
"Colour Trip" is the debut album by Texan troublemakers Ringo Deathstarr. It's chock-a-block full of fuzzy goodness - we can't recommend this enough! Lossless digital download free with the vinyl version.
Due to demand - we've repressed Colour Trip on three new flavours of vinyl. Each one is limited to 100 copies only worldwide, pressed up on heavy 180g vinyl, and you can choose from Transparent Cyan, Transparent Cola-Cube and Raspberry Ripple! We'll be getting stock of these in mid-January and we'll send out any pre-orders as soon as we get them - we aim to do this January 19th 2015. We ship worldwide.

Is the MOV remastered? I have a black copy I'm happy with, but if it's remastered ANDDDD on MOV... then I got to grab one because its going to sound amazing.

Looks like I grabbed the last copy of Run The Jewels 2 from them. With the code it basically came out to free shipping.

This thread was also dead and buried. Did you really feel it necessary to post to this thread just to say you already made a thread a month ago? Just post to your own thread and leave this one alone to die. You're weird.
