Anyone know what happened to the Empire Of The Sun reissue for RSD 2015? Never got released and I havent seen a word it.

How were there 18 clear this morning but I managed to get one just now?

I watched the numbers after I bought mine, the stock went from 18 left to like 269. Must be slow adding them to their inventory? Strange.

Grabbed the pink. I already have the black, but I love this album and I'm pretty sure after my friends hear it I'll probably trade one to them. 

I recently traded one of my hand-dipped Tabacco - Ultima Massage II for (black) Perturbator - Dangerous Days. Solid trade.  I'm looking forward to the new album.

I was team Sparta after the split, love this album. Snagged one.

It's back on amazon, but twice the price from what I paid a week ago.

The new song is OK I think.   Dennis Lyxzén's vocals have changed in a way I dont care for.  Reminds me of how Keith Buckley from Every Time I Die sounded different after Hot Damn, apparently after screaming vocal lessons.

I'm seeing her this weekend at Desert Daze. I can't wait to her the new songs.

YESSS!!!! I've seen PPL MVR twice here in L.A. and they are one fun band. After the show you can catch them wandering the streets... just don't get too close because they will attack you, unless you have pancakes.

I have an extra copy of Imandra Lake - Avane if anyone is interested (only 300 printed). I ordered this record from Seksound in Estonia and when it didn't arrive after 4 months they sent me another copy... both showed up within the same week.  So, now I'm going to sell it for them and send them the money. Since they're a small label making good music I'm not going to screw them.  If this was from Universal Music Group I'd tell them to suck it.   I know this isn't the FOR SALE thread... but it seemed appropriate. 25$ shipped PP gifted, just send me a DM.

Not sure if anyone else was at the show Ty played tonight. If you weren't, he played a very last minute show at The Smell in downtown LA and before starting the set announced that it was their last show "indefinitely"

Not April Fools, I was there and that's what he said.  Probably one of the craziest shows I've been to in a while.  The Smell isn't just a clever name either.... jesus christ what a shithole.  Also, pretty sure I was 10 years older than 95% of the people there... it was like a high school all over again.

I think the most "valuable" record I own is actually Tom Petty's Greatest Hits from the 90's. Recently saw that on discogs for almost 300 bucks. I got it a few years ago at a store in France of all places for around 20.

I didn't even know they pressed that Tom Petty's Greatest Hits album, I've tried looking before and didn't find anything... I think because I was just searching Tom Petty and not with "The Heartbreakers".  That album was the first CD I ever bought as a kid, I hope they repress that one day.  Good find.

I bought this after seeing him live a couple years back for like $18, and never realized how sought after it was until I saw a post here. When I uploaded on Discogs, I was shocked it now goes for over $150! 

 

Being the big Third Man Records and all things Jack  fan that I am and how expensive of a hobby that is, I've greatly considered trading or selling to get one of my higher "wants"

This is one of mine that I noticed too.  My copy isn't in the best of shape, but at least I have it. Pretty sure m83 will reissue this at some point, so if you want to make a lot of money off it now is the time.

No, but I have the cloudy-sky version. I had no clue it was a rare variant until your post.  I bought it at Amoeba about 3 years ago, it was a dollar more than the repress they had there... I just thought it was a standard first press. You just made my day.

I did... I thought they were fucking terrible. The guy laughs like a hyena, very off-putting. To each their own I suppose.

Nice.  I'll be trying to grab one of those 200.  I'm really digging this band, seeing them next month.

Has anyone received their pinkshinyultrablast 2nd pressing yet? I was told they'd be shipped out mid february.

Only 2 options left now.  Since this pre-order went up I've been looking for the 2xLP at a decent price. Unfortunately, all the 2xLP's are selling for about the same price as the box set.

So excited for this, I've been waiting for this repress for a long ass time. I went all in and grabbed the option with the test presses. 

 

 

 

DOGHOUSE RECORDS is excited to announce a preorder for the first reissue of LIMBECK's debut album "Hi, Everything's Great" on vinyl. Includes the full original album on disc 1 and disc 2 is the live version called "Hi, Everything's Fine" that the band recorded with their friends and released as a companion piece to the album. This initial pressing is limited to 1000 copies of the double LP on 2 limited colors as well as a pressing of black vinyl. This is expected to ship June 1, 2015.
