  1. Hey Guys I'm looking for a copy of the +44 12" LP  When Your Heart Stops Beating on the light blue marble variant. This is the only pressing. I hear the audio quality is pretty mediocre but if I can find it in good shape for a decent price that'd be rad

  2. Yeah I just started playing WYHSB lol this album is great. Marks lyrics are great man. I'm currently listening to Baby Come On (Acoustic) I just had to play it lol

and you're lucky, I'd love to see WYHSB get a repress.

Yeah dude I'm telling you! WYHSB is a really rad album. Strong Production and Marks lyrics are on point. Honestly, he's my favorite component of blink. I can't say that enough. I fangirl hard core over Mark Hoppus

  3. I'm gonna be honest, never listened to WDNTW but so far Love Part II is my favorite album by them. Saturday Love, Anxiety, and Surrender are my favorite songs on that album. I am pretty excited to hear Poet when Tom is done with it this year and then HOPEFULLY he will go in the studio with Mark and Travis and get that new Blink record done!

Oh is that what that is? I saw something mentioned about it on their site. I didn't realize it was a tentative release

  4. What do you think about Angels And Airwaves? I couldn't really get into them.

I try to view them as a different entity. I try to imagine in that instance that Tom has nothing to do with blink. As their own entity I think they're rad. Like I said WDNTW and I-Empire were really good. Love was WAAY different. But overall. I enjoy the listening experience. When I first listened to them I tried to not expect anything of it.

  5. +44 is amazing. Definitely my favorite side project. BCR was also great being that they remind me of my youth. Would love to see a repress

I mean if you really think about it the side projects that came from blink are all great. BCR killed it, so did +44. AVA was good until that last double EP. I We Don't Need To Whisper was a great record and so were both Love pt 1 & 2 and I-Empire

One group I've never given any time to was The Transplants I heard they kinda blow. I don't have any opinions having never listened to them

  6. Alright! Haha I made a little visit over to Amoeba Hollywood between classes this week and I scooped up some stuff

Them Crooked Vultures S/T  2xLP (Black)

    Bayside S/T (Black)

    Bayside - Cult (Black)

And I got the last 2 releases in the blink-182 Splatter Series

Enema of the State and Buddha

  7. I was sorta surpised to hear Mark on a Tom/Travis project but it was really cool. BCR has a couple favorites for me such as I Feel So and There Is and for +44 I only REALLY like 1 song and that is When Your Heart Stops Beating. I am going to have to sit down and listen to these records a few more times to get a better feel for these projects

You should look up the acoustic version of "Baby Come On" a bit on the softer side but I love it. And.. I was about to start listing my favorites from the record but I realized I was about to list half of them hahaha. On your next run through pay some attention to Marks lyrics, he's always been a really powerful lyricist I think, as a lyricist, that's what draws me to his art the most.

  8. I remember listening to BCR for the first time, remember exactly where I was and what I was doing. it was when it first came out.

For me it was last year, I remember hearing "I Feel So" on the radio a lot and it was one of those songs I had shazamed about 15 times but never looked up the band or the name, But I remember thinking that "Voice sounds familiar" and when I finally got the initiative to look into it, it made sense that it had come from the front man of my favorite band hahaha

  9. Clockstoppers yes! That was the same for me! After that movie I was listening to blink whenever I could, even though I was really young lol. But what really got me into Blink was S/T. That is my favorite album by them and in my opinion their best. I know I can't relate to the dark themes of some of the songs like you but my parents are divorced so Stay Together For The Kids will always be a piece of me because of the theme behind that song.

The poop/sex/fart jokes can be funny sometimes for Blink but it is always nice to see a band change in a sense of maturity and most of the time bands make their best material when they are more mature.

  10. Neighborhoods really stepped up the maturity from S/T and that's what I loved about it. I just hope they are in the studio together more for the next album

I could not agree with you more. Honestly, I categorize myself with the "2nd Gen" blink fans. My favorite records are S/T, TOYPAJ, and Neighborhoods in that order. I don't dislike any of their other stuff it's really fun to listen to. But the maturity I found in those records along with the more serious topics really hit hard for me. I was in a really dark place when Neighborhoods dropped. And none of my friends understand it. But I do love that record. A lot. I know its not "Classic Blink" but S/T was what drew me in, in the first place. I was too young at their prime to enjoy their more raunchy stuff. My first blink song was First Date in a movie called clock stoppers. I was in the third grade I believe

  11. My younger brother purchased TOYPAJ when it came out. We liked Stay Together For the Kids, but I think it really connected with my bro more; his mom has just committed suicide (we have the same dad but different moms).

Yeah man, people view blink as that "joke punk band" but a lot of their stuff really hits home. I'm not sure what I would categorize S/T as because it strayed pretty far from punk. But I think both are really solid records
