  1. This has happened here too. Damaged LPs mixed with ones that were fine with no damage to the box they were all shipped in. I've also had LPs that were fine and sealed but had badly bent inner picture sleeves when opened. KRM has been very good about returns/exchanges but it would be nice if they could get their warehouse and website issues down to a minimum.
  2. Delays in pre-ordered vinyl are more common than you think. Only time I've been burned on it is by MTS during the great TOYPAJ fiasco of 2009 (is that when it was?) and that was an isolated incident. Yeah, I've had to wait some incredibly long times on rare occasion but I always eventually received the items. A vast majority of the records sold by various sites are ultimately produced from a small number of pressing plants. Sometimes big labels with a shitload of money to throw at rushing things and meeting "deadlines" clog up the system like all the Beatles represses from last year. I'm sure someone who knows more about the production end of vinyl could elaborate but the point is, log jams occur and delays happen. They are frustrating, I know. And we have all experienced them. But in the vinyl collecting game you learn to be patient or you go elsewhere.
  3. Received my order today. More dented corners... I've received more damaged packages from HT than anywhere. Makes me wonder why I still keep going back.
  4. Has anyone been doing this? I didn't see a thread for this already so apologies if there is one that I didn't find. I know this is supposed to be done on Instagram but was curious why nothing has been posted here as well. I personally don't use Instagram and think it would be neat to do a bit of this stuff here unless there is some reason why it hasn't been started yet.
  5. I like to collect Herb Alpert records I find in 99 cent bins. I bought Going Places a while back because it had "Spanish Flea" and "Zorba The Greek" on it and listening to the record made me realize how many Alpert songs have been used in The Simpsons. I don't go out of my way to find his stuff, I just get what I happen across in discount bins. Also dig my Leon Redbone albums, also from discount bins. Not sure why Tom Waits is so popular when Redbone is just as solid, if not better! I still have the first record I ever owned which was a Disney Christmas album with "The Chipmunk Song" on it. Parents got it for me when I was probably 4 or 5.
  6. Hm... with this many variants, I might have to forgo the whole "completest" idea unless I can get them for a good price. Black and red is good enough for now.
  7. I don't think so. It was on black and I believe clear at one point. According to discogs there is also a "peach" version. If anyone has any colors aside from black or this red one, let me know as I may have an offer for you.

  9. I guess I misunderstood this. I was listing a band whose best album HAS NOT been printed. Someone buy the rights already and release this!
  10. Yes, but he didn't seem thrilled about it at the time. Despite the fact that he dreamed about being John Elway in another episode.
