Sooo I'm planning on buying a new setup mid year and I'm a little lost when it comes to choosing an amp etc. I was wondering what kind of setup you guys had and if you have a seperate audio setup to your home theatre setup? I'd ideally like to combine them both but if i can get a better sound from a 2 channel amp (Cambridge Audio 740A was recommended to me) I would consider keeping it seperate from a home cinema receiver. Or could they work together? I am looking at the Pro-Ject Debut III/Phono SB turntable as it has the built in pre-amp, great reviews and I know its readily available at my local top end audio store. It also suits my budget. Are there any other sites out there that I should be looking at for suggestions on piecing together a home entertainment system? I did a search of the forum for setups but didnt really have any luck and didnt think this post needed to be in the turntable one. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers, Paul P.S. How are the prices of vinyl in London? I'm heading to Europe for 2 months in April/May from Australia and wouldn't mind having a sniff through some of the above mentioned stores. Fingers crossed I don't send myself broke in the first week!

I jailbroke my 16gb 3G iphone and it opened up a whole world of fun. I can play mame, psx and nintendo roms on it. Also by jailbreaking it, it allows you to download thousands of 3rd party apps that you dont have to pay for. This means you can get free themes, I have a theme that looks like a vending machine which is pretty cool. No cut and paste, no flash support, no mms (you can install 3rd party mms apps if its jailbroken), no sideways texting as previously mentioned. The camera is a joke also. They are ok, but should have been a thousand times better than what they are. Enjoy

I'm only new to the whole vinyl collecting scene but I buy them to listen to and appreciate the music and if its a rare one so be it. People say they will never play these records to keep them in mint condition in case they decide to sell them but really if you find that ultimate record you aren't likely to sell it are you? Otherwise I think you end up looking like one of those freaky star trek collectors with everything stored in original boxes.
