This being one of my favorite albums, I sprung for both silver and gold. Unfortunately both came in with inner sleeves split to shit. Same no help response from SRC, last time I order anything from them.

USPS clearly played a game of soccer with my copy, but it came out with just a few split seams on the inner paper sleeves. I always thought sound stage direct's packaging was overkill, but I'm definitely thankful for it this time.

Not surprised by the Marvelio debacle. They sent me all the same canned emails last time I ordered a record from them. If we are to believe what they say, thats 4 separate records theyve shipped to me that never arrived. Unfortunately they make so many sales in a day, even if we all left bad reviews they'd still have 99% satisfied customers.

Contact them through Amazon, so there is a record of it and Amazon can refund your money if you have any issue with Marvelio. We should all leave them feedback as well, it's ridiculous that this seems to be a common business practice for them, yet they still have a very high amazon rating.

Earth division 12", Rave Tapes 12", young team deluxe CD, CODY CD, A wrenched virile lore CD, Rave Tapes CD, Hardcore CD, and Mister Beast CD, maybe more CDs. A few shirt designs mostly themed after rave tapes. A tote. Cant remember if there's anything else.

In terms of vinyl Earth division 12" is the only thing they had left when I saw them a week ago. And he showed me the stack he had left when I bought mine, I doubt they have any left at this point.

I just got this long winded response to a very simple question: Can I please have a tracking # for this item? (in regards to the Far Cry 3 soundtrack I purchased from Marvelio on amazon.)  I guess the answer was no.

I was really hoping they would come through this time, given they actually maintain a good rating on Amazon. Gonna give it another week before I get my refund with amazon.

I'm really just playing devils advocate at this point, I think its kinda ridiculous to give somebody so much grief over contemplating reselling an item. I didn't snatch this out of a fans hands after they waited in line for 12 hours, I bought off a website where it was available for 4 hours+ and will soon be back in stock. Sure you can just label me an eBay flipper or whatever but that's just not the case. If people are really gonna hold this against me so be it.

In reality I actually do have 2 framed records hanging up on my wall. I got them signed by the artists and keep the actual vinyl in a generic sleeve so I can listen to it. I don't see why people hate on it.

Yeah its not a popular opinion but I have no moral quarrel with selling this set if I can make a quick 100 bucks and pick it up again later on black vinyl. Looking at eBay listings, its tempting to list it. I can wait a few more weeks for the next batch. I collect vinyl to listen first and foremost and of my 500+ records I've kept maybe 1-2 sealed.

Mine arrived today in Miami. No dents in the box thankfully. Can I trouble anyone with a shipping scale to weigh their complete boxset? I'm not 100% sure I want to open this but am obviously curious about the test pressing...

The standard does say sold out, however I was just able to check out and pay for the deluxe version:

Every moment truly was incredible. And without a doubt the highlight of the whole performance for me was Helicon pt 1. There's no way to describe the way the bass resonated in that venue and how it complete blanketed my entire existence.

And to the person attending the Miami show, there is no way to prepare for the amazing experience you're about to have. You're gonna enjoy it so much!

You mentioned you grabbed Rave Tapes at the show. Were there any other records for sale at the merch stand? 

Well, everyone.. I made it. After an amazing afternoon with my girlfriend and her family I rushed to new orleans and met up with my friend. I made it 40 minutes after doors and remarkably I was able to meander right to the stage, front center. Being so close resulted in an incredible experience of truly becoming entirely engulfed with their performance.. every aspect was so immaculately refined from their setlist to how well they played each song to the awe inspiring light show. After witnessing a concert which I could only describe as mindblowing I was lucky enough to receive a setlist. As I was staring at it in front of me laying on the stage, a Roadie tossed a handful of used guitar picks onto it, both white and black, featuring the rave tapes logo and band name. I kept one of each color and chased down the guy who stood next to me during the show and gave him one of each as well. He left after thanking me and I grabbed a copy of Rave Tapes on vinyl. Just then a multi instrumentalist from the band, Barry, walked into the then empty bar/merch room and I was able to have a nice conversation with him. He joked about driving to Miami the next day and told my friend and I how he and his wife watch Miami vice, which sounded extra silly coming from his awesome Scottish accent. He saw my record and happily pulled out the sleeve and signed it to my name and left a nice little message with his signature.

Making it to new orleans for Mogwai was the best decision ever.

 

Awesome. I'm going to that Miami show for my first Mogwai concert. Can't wait.

Great set, although the sides being split A/C B/D etc is super annoying with just 1 TT. 

If however they do release this widely on may 20th (which based on hearsay from Warner Bros employees, seems to be the case), I can safely say I will never line up at another RSD event. Pretty much every big release has been easier to find / cheaper online than it was locally, this LCD soundsystem box was the only reason i lined up at all.
