Damn it took me a full 2 days to realize why I recognized the Amazon seller who was selling the FarCry OST... They failed to deliver on Beck's Guero when I ordered from them a few months ago. They ship without a tracking number and after waiting for over a month and numerous emails, "a second record was shipped" to me, but I never got anything. Amazon resolved it in the end but I really hope it doesn't come to that this time.

We trust that you will not forward this pop-up store link to others or post the link on the various vinyl message boards.

Got an email saying they held back 20% of the pink copies because of the trouble they had with the store and to email them for a paypal invoice.

I really wanted the pink, but I already own the picture disc and they've already shipped my Walter White version, so I can't justify buying this a 3rd time. Anyway just a heads up to anyone who still wants to get in on a pink, try emailing spacelab.

Sp do you only want it if nobody else can have it? This seems like a really messed up way of thinking to me. I hope you are happy with the albums you picked up and enjoying them, but don't see why you wouldn't want others to get the same from it too. Or are you just camping out to make a profit from the people who want that enjoyment from the music?

Edit: To me this shows the mindset that is creating everything that is currently broken about RSD.

There's certainly merit to his complaint. If you were under the impression that the record was limited and camped out/drove far/ battled crowds to get that record, its pretty lame to learn you could have stayed home and bought it online a few days later.

Went back to radioactive in ft Lauderdale for a second look and to dig a bit. There's still a 20 person line to get in 8 hours after they opened.

So the LCD box is going to get a normal wide release next month, right?

I want it but just didn't have the cash today.

Yeah no distinguishing features on the rsd version as far as I can tell, expect maybe the download card which mentions the album gets released may 20th.

Ugh showed up at 7 in the pouring rain to a giant line already waiting. If anyone can pick up an extra LCD sound system box, I'd take it off their hands, pretty unlikely I'll get one this far back in line.

Which store you going to? Sweat is closer to me, but Radioactive gets more RSD product, so I usually go there.

Even if he puts some number of these up on his site, good luck trying to buy one. If you guys thought buying the Walking Dead ost from spacelab9 was a shit show, just try buying some of the obey posters. I'm considering learning to code just so I can write scripts to buy this super limited shit for me.

Annnd I bought both. After buying the boot like 2 months ago. Fuck.

What is left for them to say? They didn't expect the strain on the servers and the site was overloaded for a while. They already said on twitter/fb they would upgrade servers for the next release. I just hope the problems with the website don't reflect the quality of the records.

Where do you guys see these numbers? My order went threw, money was taken from paypal, email confirmation from paypal, but nothing from spacelab9

 

The paypal receipt email should have "InvoiceID: SL9-339" toward the bottom, the last 3 digits being your order number.

Anyone who got an order thru- when you go to your order status page on spacelab, does it say "pending" along with an option to pay for your order...even tho you already paid and received an email from paypal confirming you sent spacelab money?

Yeah, same for me. They're still displaying the "Store Currently for Testing Only" banner on the site, so I wouldn't worry about this "pending" discrepancy more than any of the other problems they've had with this release.
