I remember when they first opened and I found out it was going to be extra to get bread crumbs, it just kinda pissed me off. Most great mac and cheese has breadcrumbs and it seemed a little nickel dime to charge for old crushed toast. Do they even bake the mac? I really like the mac and cheese at Broken Record in the city. I don't know if they are still serving it. I actually make some kickass mac, so I am biased.

Ya I get it. But it's still cheap for the original with breadcrumbs. Like under 10 I want to say. Pretty positive they bake it. But everyone has their own tastes!

Watching the fog roll in this morning made me happy. Plus I'm the luckiest girl on the planet because my niece and nephew are too darn cute and sweet. The last time I visited, my niece cried and said she was going to miss me. It broke my heart but also warmed it. Children are pretty special because they love you no matter what.

i'm doing myself a total disservice by not yet having opened an online shop.. but i think part of it is my naïveté when it comes to reproduced prints.

once i have a piece ready to go in digital format, what's the best way to go as far as getting prints done? is staples a viable option? or am i supposed to be going through one of these specialty shops that charges out the ass? is there even a chance of my customer being able to distinguish?

limited runs... am i fucking people over if a run of prints numbered /25 sell out, and the demand is there for more?

I feel like limited is the way to go. People feel a drive to purchase if something is running out. If it does run out, you learn maybe that you should charge more for your prints. But that is just me.

Staples is fine. My friend gets hers done there. I luckily have a connection and am able to get them done at a shop for a really good deal.

Tried the Hawaiian at Homeroom the other day. Comes with hvarti cheese, bacon, pineapple and scallions (I have an allergy so I skipped the scallions); so delicious.

The wait is pretty fun though. I went 2 years ago for Mardi Gras. Cause New Orleans people tend to get the fuck out of New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Execpt the shitheads. And we all took some addaral and left at like 1am. Showed up at 8am and waited in line with a suitcase of beer until 10 or 11am when they open. It was a pretty amazing BBQ expierence.

 

Sounds badass. I need to do this in the near future. Minus the Addaral.
