The rumor is, and I believe this very much, they purposely disabled the step system to ease server load. They say the literal code has been altered from having the steps in three tiers to having them all at "0". I think that's the truth and once they have it released in all regions and stable they will switch it on and test if it can handle it before implementing Poke Centers, Trading, Battling and Breeding. I love this game very much but I'm four poke from the 100 gold medal and I think once I get that I may start playing it less until legendaries or Johto. But maybe I'll keep at it, I dunno. We'll see! edit: also blanche design is killer so I'm proud to be her disciple （*´▽｀*）

So basically bikes and stuff are useless too unless you're going walking speed. Would this make it to where running wasn't as effective either? Like what if you're running circles around a pretty small loop with multiple pokestops? Also does the game track steps while you have menus open; if I'm looking through my pokemon or trying to catch one and still running does it track my steps? this whole egg thing is really ambiguous

Dittos exist in the code but they do not have a spawn frequency set so just like Mewtwo, Mew and the birds they're uncatchable atm

Triple post i don't care. i just spent all my stardust and evee-candy on a cp1,750 vaporeon and I transferred it on accident while attempting to power it up the final time out of muscle memory.

This three step bug is crazy. So i'm sitting in my apartment in my pajamas absentmindedly evolving pidgeys and stuff when I happen to glance at the nearby tab and see my first Lickitung silhouette. Despite better judgement I dart out the door barefoot and run to the fence outlining my apartment complex in an attempt to happen to bump into the long-tongued devil. After running entirely around the complex without encountering anything but caterpies, I head out onto the road and run up it down to the Denny's parking lot. At this point I realize it vanished from the tab. Frustrated, I slumped back towards my apartment. I just happened to pass by the pool in the very middle of the complex and wouldn't you know--Lickitung was taking a dip Only cp750 but this was one of the more fun encounters I've had recently; kinda rejuvenated my fire for the hunting experience since the bug was birthed

Lvl 21 with 91 caught 93 seen. The first slowbro I've ever encountered ran tonight after one pokeball. Also hatched a pidgey on the beach, so. lol. But I did learn tonight thanks to pokemon go I can now run without becoming winded ............'least not as quickly

Had a friend drive me to the beach since my car is down and the servers were down the whole time; finally got in but nothing would load. Niantic the Titantic. Then I got home and the servers are perfectly smooth
