I got my copy of this album in the mail today.
Thanks for pointing this one out. Very heavy monolithic stuff. Black LP is cheap on ATIH right now for US folks.

I'm actually stoked for Red Wizard tomorrow even though I still haven't gotten my Ancient Warlocks stuff.
Like some others mentioned days ago, I have a hard time getting excited about today's Red Wizard release. I'll try listening again.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't hang around that long. They've gone and re-pressed their previous LP now as well, just as expected. /300 bone/white merge so it's possible to grab that along with the new LP.

I haven't been too crazy about Cough either but I still remember when I first listened to Ritual Abuse back when I got into Windhand and thought it the most evil thing ever. It's difficult to not be blown away by the bleakness of their vision.
I know the last few posts were not raving about Cough. But, big thanks for mentioning the Cough Ritual Abuse repress coming.

As a fan of Endless Boogie, I started following guitarist Jesper Eklow, No Quarter records (the band's label) and more lately Anthology Recordings. It seems Mr. Esklow is very involved in Anthology.
I've discovered so much interesting music following Jesper:John Coltrane's rare jukebox 7" version of his Ascension albumSoldiers of Fortune (another band with Mr. Esklow)Mustache In Your Face by Pretty (lost 1969 psychedelic single now available on Numero and other compilations)Michael Angelo (also on Anthology...an obscure 70's pop album from a Missouri session-man)Trad Gras och Stenar (an amazing early 70's Swedish psychedelic band and the subject of another upcoming Anthology box set)This 70's Ilian LP is another rare re-lease from Anthology. When I saw the below video of Jesper talking about this "mysterious" LP and heard the power pop guitar licks, of course I ordered this too. -
Other option for Beastmaker red vinyl if you're in the US...Last Rights Records. They seem to be very good at tracking Rise Above releases.

I'm thinking OBI too...but that Van Halen looking live album does look super cool (but 27 more bucks super cool?)

Thanks for the Brume comments. I've been waffling on buying that one...basically I agree with that Windhand comment Captain Herbal made.

Are we interested in this?
9 am PST today Ripple Music releases Second Coming Of Heavy Chapter 2...split with Supervoid and Red Desert.
I don't know much about either band. I remember last year we had some buzz with Chapter 1 with Geezer and Borracho.
From FB page:
Resurrection Edition: Cyan blue/ Milky Clear combination vinyl with gold splatter.
The Risen OBI individually numbered OBI strip with Bone vinyl and gold splatter
The Ascension, pure Cyan.

Sorry to double post but just looking through what Heavy Ripples carries and if you dont own a copy of Wight 'through the woods...' I highly recommend it. Best $20 you'll spend today.
Thanks for the heads up on the Wight 2LP. Read the references to Cactus and Colour Haze in the Obelisk review...listened and bought.

I am a big fan of Conan, and the guys are cool as f#ck, I'm looking forward to joining up and bringing down the riff with Jon and Rich". -
Wow...This is way too far down, and on page 2. Bump!

I just logged in and did the vinyl redemption minutes ago. It seemed to work for me. I even have an email order confirmation. Hope it starts working for you. I was using Google Chrome in case there is a browser issue.

For the A list...Acid King and Ancient Warlocks definitely. ATW seems like it breaking out of this category for me...but we all are fans it seems. I need to check out Asteroid.

Still trying to decide if I want that Zaum/Shooting Gun split. It's good...but I donno.
It is really good. I noticed that US shipping is cheaper on Shooting Gun's bandcamp (vs Zaum's). And they have Brotherhood of the Ram copies too.

Anybody else snag that Watch Me Kill You repress?
