In more personal and somber news...I might break up with my girlfriend of 4 years. We're parting as good friends, sat down and made everything final but it still seems like it's not truly here 'til it's here. Our living situation doesn't really allow it to feel completely final.

 

Not even sure why I'm divulging this to all you relatively anonymoums folk on a message board. Perhaps anyone has any words to live by to give for me that I should think about from now on ha?

I should have posted this weeks ago but I've been listening to this album a lot recently. I even paid extra money to buy this overseas. They're called Domkraft and I expect you to like them.

 

 

I kept coming back to Domkraft.  Its so good,   One whiskey sour and its now ordered.

We are having Friday Choice time in my class and the kids are annoying me with their chattering. So, I am blasting Conan - Monnos. They were confused at first. Maybe Converge will be next. My day is almost over. Happy Friday!

Domkraft sounded great.  I was all excited when I saw the bandcamp LP price...then I saw the shipping to US.  Still very tempting since this is in that Conan wheelhouse I am obsessed with.

For some reason the Magic Circle pushed my buttons, and it was cool to see something offered at such a reasonable price.  I was lucky early today and grabbed a blue copy before it sold out.

That Fu Manchu collection is bad ass.  I jumped over to your instagram and it looked like you got a nice note from the band too.  Very cool.

Thanks for posting this.  I picked up a Ladder Devils combo from Brutal Panda that included the LD split with Helms Alee.  And I've been wanting to pick up more Helms Alee ever since.  I just ordered the lime green.

Also, anyone have experience with Under The Gun? I ordered Fogg's High Testament in April when pre-orders went up and I still haven't received my copy.

 

Initially I figured that the first copy got lost in the mail. Then they promised to send me a second one. That also never arrived. Thought it was awfully strange to have two records of one album gone missing. I could actually believe that shipping has been horribly unlucky if they hadn't been so shady afterwards though.

 

When I contacted them I and expressed my frustrations and bewilderment at the whole situation  they promised to send me a tracking number. That was in the beginning of November. Another two forwarded messages from myself and I've still yet to hear back from them. Didn't really want to resort to that but I'll probably have to file a claim before the year is over. Been way patient with this already.

Sorry to hear about this hassle.  I ordered the same LP in late May and it arrived in late July.  But I did not have any contact with them at all.  I just checked for Under The Gun on Facebook and they don't have any recent activity there.  But it might be worth trying to send them a FB message there too.

Yeah I think you're right there...its filled with these great jams.  We did a family trip to California and spent a day in Santa Cruz (where this band is from) and we all fell love with the place.  This band just seem's to have that Santa Cruz vibe, if that makes any sense.

Loving the house chats.  Getting a roof over our backyard deck in the spring time.  That "secret room" sounds sweet.

Me and my twin brother own our home and our entire dining room is dedicated to records and nothing else. Fuck having a nice room for having people over for dinner. Priorities.

My hero.  But my wife is allowing me to take over a dormer bedroom.

I got the same freebie from RE. Got the Unonu reissue and it was rather well done compared to previous stuff I've bought. Nice thick, textured gatefold.

I also ordered Danava Unonu and got the Windhand Salems Pot 10" (sleeve only, no jacket).  Very cool surprise.

Was able to grab the Sonics "Fifty" box set locally a whole 2 weeks in advance today. That's one less RSD thing I need to worry about.

I am so psyched.  I just bought the Sonics "Fifty" box on Ebay for just a few bucks over list price.  Thats all I really wanted this BF RSD.
