I dont think I've ever watched a TV show or movie and thought to myself "Man, I'd really be into this if there weren't so many dorks that liked this"
This.

The cover will be the regular version.
If this is true, I'll be tempted. I already have the Amber. So I'd dig having the other jacket and a new variant.

ALBUQUERQUE!!! I'm so stoked! This will be my first time seeing them!

I placed an order from Bengans - has anyone in the U.S. had experience ordering from them before?
Just ordered from them as well. My credit card company declined it due to it being in Skandonavia, and then asked if it was actually me. Awesome. I haven't heard from Bengans yet, so I don't know if I have to fix something.

Haha! "Liberals." I guess you have to be liberal to not use a word that either means happy or homosexual as an insult. GTFO.

I really want that box set.

I guess I just thought that's what they did. Several other prints I've bought from other companies appear to be sent out in order (maybe?) as I've gotten very low numbers when I purchased quickly. And when I've bought numbered prints in person I've always seen that they sell in order (not sure with Mondo). I guess maybe I hoped that part of the reason they took so long to ship was because they were honoring that system haha.
Honest question: what's the point of numbering them then?
Proof there is only that many. Also, I don't think very many companies SHIP that way. And I'd be willing to bet Mondo sells in order in person.

Actually, the main "bum" (from the cover of Bumflights) turned his life around and is doing quite well. I forget his name in the videos, but I recently read a small article about him.
Edit: Rufus. http://gawker.com/5678151/star-of-bumflights-no-longer-a-bum
Huh. Really interesting and good to hear.

This I my kind of conversation! I had no idea about the Bum Fights dudes. Good riddance. Those guys were stains on the earth.

Can someone do a Bran's Freestyle 7"?

Ever since they overcharged for Deja, I'm done.

They could run out, but again, they usually leave the listing up and when you click to add to cart, nothing happens. Wouldn't surprise me if they got hammered though as the other poster said. It's ine thing to press something that never came out after it's been out there for years, but to press a newer album like this seems a little more risky.
I doubt it was the getting "hammered." I bet they show back up. Maybe just a glitch or something.

I love Nate and can't wait for this album. Kind of bummed I missed out on the bundle with the poster.
Time to go down a trip down memory lane. I grew up in the Phoenix, AZ area, and saw Nate and Sam all the time live, they were always one of my favorite bands. My single most memorable experience in music was being a 14 year old at a Something Corporate show that my girlfriend's older brother's band was one of the opening bands for, and so was The Format. Right before her brother's band went on we had a fight and broke up, so little emo me was out on the patio just distraught over the break up and two guys walked up to make sure I was ok. They sat down next to me, offered me a smoke and we got to chatting. It was Nate and Sam. Nicest guys ever, and so genuine. They both signed each side of my shoes, gave me some parting words of advice on teenage relationships and got up and walked inside to get ready for their set.
Almost skipped this post. Glad I didn't. Pretty cool story.

Also had a double label on side A...have never seen that before.
I had a TWO double labels on my Folie A Deux 2XLP. Not to mention a lot of other records.

Sooooooo good!

Pretty sure I read in an interview that the new album draws a great deal of thematic influence from Metropolis, the late 20's german expressionist film. The artwork definitely seems to give off that vibe as well. Cult of Luna's last album was actually based upon the same film as well.
It is very similar, but typically they're almost identical.
-
Anybody know what the artwork is a reference to? I know all of the artwork references something like a movie or something.

That's when it was uncool to like what was cool, so what was cool became uncool
Whoa...

I am incredibly stoked for this!

To the ones saying the track list is wrong: Is it wrong on the sleeve, or just in the grooves?
If it's just the grooves, is it possible that one (if not both) of those Discogs listings are wrong?

I hope this makes it to me. I recently changed my address physically and via USPS. It has been a cluster fuck since.
