I back this. Worst "label" going. Seriously, who doesn't clear pressing something with the band? Even if the masters are legally owned by the CD-issuing label, karmic ethics and decency dictate that you at least get the thumbs up from the people who made the music. After all, they might think your label sucks and not want to be affiliated with it and end up causing you serious embarrassment. Oh wait, that's what's happening right now!! Actually, you know what? PLEASE keep trying to put out records by contacting and licensing from major labels and "jumping through hoops." This thread is so Hobby. When a place says they have "xx copies of (insert color) for mailorder," it doesn't mean they made only that quantity for mailorder. It means they have that many copies of that color available for mailorder. The rest could have gone to the band or key store accounts and on and on. Now if a place were to denote "mailorder only," different story. Aslo, does anyone know where I can get toploaders for my vinyl?

Christie Front Drive reunites to play a special show at the Bell House in Brooklyn tomorrow night. You will be able to purchase tickets at the door and people will be let in at 8pm.
