Mitch Hedburg was awsome. Unfortunatly I saw him about three months before he died and he was completly trashed. He was so drunk and drugged up that he barely told any jokes. Pretty much he walked around stage and mumbled and talked about random shit that wasn't funny. It was pretty sad actually.

I've always liked Punchline but I've got to admit that they almost always have really bad lyrics.

So I thought it would funny if we all posted the lyrics to a song that we think is absolutely horrible. My pick is for LL Cool J's "I Need Love". I laugh so hard everytime I hear this song. Hands down the worst lyrics ever. oh fuck, i resisted going to that movie so hard and it totally was a mistake. when my lady dragged me to it i couldn't stop laughing. if it wasn't for john travolta it would be a perfect movie. i enjoyed it more than i care to say. It was the same way with me. I should have know that it was going to be good. It's got Christopher Walken.

So I just noticed that I wrote Science and not Silence. WTF? I swear I'm not an idiot.

Yeah he actually sent me flying straight for the metal post that El Corazon conveniently has right in the middle of the stage. But I didn't smash my head so I was all good.

I keep flip-flopping on the new BNO. There's some reaaaaaaally good songs on it ("Get Your Head Straight," "Up With Me," "Hey Thanks"), but a lot of it coasts by without me even remembering it. I actually really hate the production on it. After I found out that they almost had Brian McTernan produce it I just got sad at how great it could have sounded. It's weird I love the songs but about half of them get old really fast. It doesn't help that I think Trainwreck is about a close to perfect that an album can get.

Haha, I sold merch for Eisley on that NFG tour. And I was the dude playing guitar in Chad's place on Singled Out. Good times. that's rad dude. So tell me something. I know he doesn't look like it but is Chad a body builder? haha After the screaming part he grabed me by one leg and the back of my neck and threw me into the crowd like I weighed nothing and at the time I was about 190ish.

First Concert was Aerosmith. First punk show was an all day fest which had pretty much every local band playing along with Slick Shoes, Dogwood, and The Undecided. Interesting thing about that show, it was my first time see Nice Guy Eddie who about 6 years later turned into Anatomy Of A Ghost.

Now that's a hell of a show. I've seen all those bands many times but never together (well, I did see BVS and TFOT on the same show once opening for Fear Before, but still). Gatsbys need to get their shit together and fast. They have played two shows since their last record came out one year ago. Yeah it was amazing. Before any of those bands were really that big either. TFOT jumped on for just that show. I wish Gatsbys would start playing again. At this point it might be safe to say that they are dead though.

Don't know why but I just can't get into them.

If I had $100 to spend on vinyl every month I think I would probably die. That would make me so happy. As it is I get to buy vinyl randomly when I just happen to have enough which means that I constantly miss out of getting a copy of whatever it is I want. Example: I'm a huge Strike Anywhere fan and I wasn't able to get Dead FM on color when it came out. So since I wasn't able to spare $15 at the time if I now want to get the same record I have to spend at least twice as much as I would have if i could have just gotten it when it came out. I spent about $50 on vinyl this past week and now i'm like "fuck I'm not so sure i should have done that. Did I really need that poison the well vinyl?"
