this is actually incorrect. it was not justin pierre, but rather justin parlette, a kansas city native who coincidentally is also a film maker (much like pierre), and the co-creator of the dead wait web series. Shit dude you are right, haha..... Though we did sell one to Justin from MCS, but he didn't get a test pressing, lol. My bad, but still cool none the less. The Dead Wait series is fucking bad ass, i know Rocket Heart has helped them w/ their Kickstarter projects!!!

Just got an email about this from them. It's times like this i wish i lived in New England.....

Funny thing about who just got the last test pressing, it was Justin from Motion City Soundtrack, here was his last tweet: "It's gone. Sorry everyone who isn't me"

And just as i hit the post reply it was sold.....

So after working through a few things, we were able to open up one more test pressing. It's updated on the Kickstarter page, might wanna hurry though, i doubt it will last long, considering the other 3 went within hours....... Thanks again to everybody that has helped out!!!

well shit, i go on vacation for a few days and i miss this.... Now i'll have to research for an hour once i get off work...

I got the Droid X, switched over to that from the Palm Pre (DO NOT GET THAT PHONE). It is the size of a small tank, but it takes some awesome pics, and that huge screen looks soooo nice. I guess the size of it is made up by the fact that it's thin. If ya can get used to an on screen keyboard i would go this way. After several yelling matches at the Palm, it's a good thing that the ex kicked me off her plan and i had to go back to verizon......

Blah, there is a lot i would give to be at this..... Too bad i can't afford another trip this year....

We want to open up more test presses, only thing is they are all spoken for, three was all we could round up from the 10 that are getting pressed. As for if this does not go through, I'm not sure, maybe try again in a few months, after they do their string of shows in December. Maybe then they can get some more steam. We are wanting to get get enough $$ to press the album, that way they can be sold at the shows as well..... Because by pledging money you get a copy of the album..... If we don't get enough pledged then no album pressed, no CC charged.....

It would be fun to start doing some of the old Noisome stuff, Jeff had a good ear!! So far this is a test of what we could do in the future, if all goes well who knows what else we could start pressing.... Also thanks for everybody that has helped thus far!! Keep em coming!!!

Yeah, we have been talking w/ Jeff (noisome), he laughed and suggested we release everything. Him and Colby (co-owner) of Rocket Heart used to work at the Lazer doing the local music show. So we at Rocket Heart Records have been working on getting all the Ultimate Fakebook albums printed on vinyl!!! We have their first album "Electric Kissing Parties" ready to go, now it's a matter of funding..... We have started up a Kickstarter program: http://kck.st/9C1yzh I know EVERYBODY who is interested in this has been asking for "Laughing Week," Which we REALLY wanna do, but there is a lot of red tape w/ Epic Records, so if this can go over well, then we will work on sorting through the red tape w/ Epic. Any who, the pressing, it will be a small run only 500, 400 black, 100 red. We will also be throwing in stickers and posters into the packets. Speaking of this.... I just recently watched all three seasons of Pete and Pete!!! Forgot how much i enjoyed that show.
