  1. Sounds like a ripper so far! Should have just put a die hard on the credit card. 

    Did anyone else have an order not actually go through? I got a Rise Above receipt but it did not charge my card. Finally heard from Rise Above last week that my order is no good even though I have the Rise Above receipt. I was early on the drop and got a silver and clear. Supposedly 50 plus orders did not actually go through. Check your credit card receipts.

  2. It was that badly warped?

    Speaking of warped records, I bought a vinyl flat a couple weeks ago and so far it works great. I put the worst warped records I have on it and so far I'm very happy with the results. I have one of these split colors on order and if it shows up warped I'll just cook it a little, not worried. However it does suck to get a warped record in the mail.

     So far I have not received this email so maybe thats a good sign. So 1,000 are going to Europe / UK and 500 to the US. It seems with all the pre orders in the US not many will hit stores.

  5. Has anyone played theirs yet? I played mine yesterday and I think my side C is messed up, it won't play unless I put the needle right on where the track starts or else it just keeps circling outside. Thinking about emailing them.

    Side C plays okay for me. I am familiar with the issue you have though. I have seen this often in particular with URP and many of my Vault 7 " Inches.

     

    Also the DVD here is excellent quality. Very happy with this package.

  6. Just received my copy from the USPS. I feared the worst when I saw the bent up and dented package from Newbury, and confirmed, HUGE seam split, and a couple of creases and dents in the corner of the gatefold.

     

    I've never used Newbury Comics customer service. Are they usually easy to work with? Do they hold back copies for replacement? Hoping to exchange for a new copy, or if not, get a partial refund. This is not acceptable for the shping fees they charge, you'd think they'd actually ship in a more sturdy vinyl friendly package.

    Good customer service. I had the same issue with mine. No replacements available for me.
