  4. I've been hooked on Lara Bars for the past 2 years. I used to love the Peanut Butter Clif Bars
  5. I figured it would be a good idea to post your Descendents record list on here in the event that people may want to trade as well. Milo Goes to College - 1st Press [1982] (New Alliance) BLACK (New Alliance address on back cover) (Small quantity of this press came with lyric sheet/insert included) I Don't Want to Grow Up - 1st Press [1985] (New Alliance) BLACK Bonus Fat - 1st Press [1985] (New Alliance) BLACK Enjoy! - 1st Press [1986] (New Alliance/Restless) BLACK ALL - 1st Press [1987] (SST) BLACK (with tour flyer/band photo insert) Liveage - 1st Press [1987] (SST) BLACK Hallraker - 1st Press [1989] (SST) BLACK Everything Sucks - 1st Press [1996] (Epitaph) BLACK Enjoy promo 7" (New Alliance) BLACK
  6. I have a first pressing of "Everything Sucks" and I was wondering if there's a clear way to tell the difference between that pressing and the repress?
  7. ^^^ I came here solely to post something related to the "Gold One".
  8. Yea, I got that recently just to have the songs but I've looking for this for a while now. I had a chance to pick one up a couple of months ago for $30 and I passed on it. I kinda regret it now.
  9. It's not gonna get better. I got you beat, I got a copy of this and the stop 7" on yellow for free from Tom.
  10. I'd really like to own this now, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Someone hook it up!
  11. Good list, the 7"s are such a pain in the ass to get a hold of.
  12. Having a job with health benefits is very important but you need to make sure that it's a place you want to be at, regardless of the pay or the benefits. My job pays well and they have great benefits but working in an office kinda sucks if you're not working for something you really don't want to do. I've wanted to quit my job for the longest time but I wont till I find a job that' in an industry that I'd strive in or if my internship turns into a job. But at the same time, I could advise you to take the risk and go for it. Confucius once said "choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life". Working somewhere you hate can alter your entire mood and personality. You lose sight of what you want to do and you realize that you're not doing what's best for you.
  13. http://thoughtcatalog.com/2011/three-bands-everyone-pretends-to-like-more-more-than-they-actually-do/ This article is perfect when it comes to SY's "fanbase".
  14. Lee Ranaldo said that Sonic Youth are "ending for a while". "I'm feeling optimistic about the future no matter what happens at this point," Ranaldo said. "It was a pretty good tour overall. I mean, there was a little bit of tiptoeing around and some different situations with the travelling – you know, they're not sharing a room any more or anything like that … It remains to be seen at this point what happens. I think they are certainly the last shows for a while and I guess I'd just leave it at that." Ranaldo also suggest there are no plans for Sonic Youth to record new material. "There's tons and tons of archival projects and things like that still going on," he said. "I'm just happy right now to let the future take its course."
