Hahah, no worries, man. I suppose they could have shrinkwrapped it but since the sleeve is a little flimsy I bet we'd be complaining about bent/creased corners instead of seam splits. I dodged the split, too, but have a little but of wear on the corners. It just adds a bit of character, I think, and I'm not planning on selling anyway.

That's correct. No shrinkwrap because it's screenprinted. That's why it arrives in the poly sleeve.

And I'm not examining this interview like the Zapruder Film BUT Justin says the Stout art for Alien is for "one of the packages". Maybe single release vs. Alien/s box set?

I am so excited for that Last of Us release. Holy crap. Sounds like each disc will be a different color. Justin also confirmed early in the talk that they are basically done with the randomly inserted stuff.

By "fast" I meant within a half hour or so, which is a long time compared to the print drops. But, yeah, most of the earlier releases sold out by the end of the day.

Yeah, the vinyl usually does hang around for a while. I think the only fast sell outs I've seen are Drive (because OMG STOUT) and Jurassic Park.

I'd laugh if someday they release, instead of full Star Wars scores, a couple 7" featuring "Jedi Rocks" and "Yub Nub".

This sounds great in theory but I know I'd be annoyed by having to sell off the black copies and I'd probably get double black and be mad about it. I think I'm shooting 60-40 on single-copy purchases. Glad it works for you, though!

I remember reading at one point that Mondo was going to do Excellent Adventure. It was probably a stupid rumor but that would be...excellent. I wore that tape out when I was little.

Hahaha, at one point I think I had four or five orders sitting as "unfulfilled".

I don't know if Cannibal Holocaust had been announced before (maybe it's a Death Waltz release?) but Justin teased the release on green vinyl on his Instagram today.

Take a step back from the screen and look at it. You can see it's a 12x12 album cover that they repurposed into a 24x36 poster with a border and big-ass title block. I'm not particularly a Stout fan to begin with but I don't like this. I do like that he tried something different instead of 1,000 floating heads, though.

I got Yondu and Rocket. I really like the coloring on the vinyl. Now I hope the score is at least halfway decent on five more Marvel movies because I want five more pieces of Infinity Gem vinyl.

That's a bummer. I wonder how that "first 1000" is figured. Like, I ordered as soon as the preorder was posted and was in the first round of shipping notifications but tracking doesn't show the package being delivered to USPS until three days later. So where does that put me? guess I'll find out on Friday when it shows up.

I ordered on 10/3, right when it went up. I got my shipping notification the first day but haven't received it yet. I'd contact customer service because you should have received the big one. Korath/Yondu was the bonus. I bet they could just mail one to you, throw a piece of cardboard in a big envelope or something to keep it from being bent.

Seems like all of the initial orders are Rocket. Maybe they didn't shuffle the deck when they cut the handbill sheets.

Did The Visitor come with an insert of liner notes? I know not every release gets one but thought I should ask around just in case.

I don't remember who said they thought THE VISITOR was Mondo's best release of 2014 a few pages back but, yeah, that person is probably right. I thought JURASSIC PARK sounded great but this thing is fantastic. I love the art and vinyl color too.
