World Be Free is the worst band name I've heard in a while. Other than that they're not bad, I think they'd be a lot better with a different vocalist though. Scott's voice doesn't really fit that sound at all.

The new protester 7" is now up at BBB. I dig these guys - one of my favorite current dc bands. It great to see a SXE band that doesn't look like starting members of the varsity crosscountry team. It's been bootlegged a few times, and the songs are pressed on the discography, but the Chung King by itself will probably never get an actual repress, because it's terrible.

That's seriously such a fucked up story. That literally could have happened to anyone that moshes at shows.

These pre-orders are up (and have been for a few weeks, apparently) but the shipping is ridiculous. I'm gonna have to wait until they're available from a distro somewhere. If you feel like blowing a ton of money there are limited colours, test press packages and some other stuff available.

I think they're selling tapes at Rain Fest this weekend, and React is doing the vinyl release in the near future.

Basically it's all good. Chung King is unlistenable, but all the songs were rerecorded anyways.

I absolutely love hardcore but have never given Judge a listen for some reason. Good starting point?

 

They only had like 18 songs. Is it really that hard to find a starting point?

 

I'd recommend starting with "What It Meant: The Complete Discography".

Well, over a month ago, we received the covers and there were a number of things wrong with said covers which weren't our fault. After a very long month of going back and fourth with the printer, they have agreed to reprint. We pick up the new covers this coming Monday.

I would have sent you an update earlier but I had no idea whether I would be getting a reprint or not. It's been a headache to say the least and no one wants your pre-order in your hands more than I do!

Got the Champion record. I've been wanting a copy of it for a long time now.

Never been on RSD, but Sloth Records is cool. I imagine they get most of the RSD releases.
