Preorders at Hobbledyhoy records (Australia) are up half white/half black limited to 300, perfect match with the cover art IMO.

did you get the purple splatter that was on eBay? 45 ain't too bad!
I seriously missed purchasing that record by 5 seconds. I was so angry. I calmed down with a little yoga and all became well. Then my wishes were answered with the info about the represses.

Sounds awesome! I wish I 'd saved my AUS money for this vs. the Caspian Waking Season, like I needed a 5th copy of it, though it is purdy. Sold my AUS version of TWDY. Still $32 before shipping for the non-black variant on 2xLP is a little over the top. But I said the same thing on sleepmakeswaves prices, and I guess the Aussie homies pony up for their great bands. They certainly have quite a few in the genre!
It is just the prices in Aus and it totally blows. Due to much higher minimum wages, raw materials and creating things out of those raw materials are much great. It costs much more to press the vinyl and much more to print the sleeves. Hence why 7" are never under $10AUD and 12" are never under $20AUD. Most 2xLP's cost around $40-50 AUD here.

So so excited for this. Love this band. Although never a big fan of Warp Riders.

It's finally happening !!! Cale:Drew and Subsets Of Sets on wax
Was just going to post this. Super excited. That has needed to happen.

So is this an 'oversized' gatefold like the Ancients one? I tried one of Sleeve City's 'oversized' outer sleeves, but even that just barely fits and is too tight. And yes; that bothers me.
But not enough to not buy the albums. I hope they do another Purple Buffalo (whatever the hell it was called) pressing.
Nah, the record is smaller than the Ancients one. I was able to fit it in to a normal sleeve, although it is still tight.

Just got my latitudes piece in the mail yesterday. To be honest, I totally forgot about this record because I ordered it 3-4 months ago. But wow! what a record. That is the thickest jacket I own. It's a special piece, much like all the other *shels music releases. Not to mention that the music is pretty awesome.

I've listened 3 times and although not 'epic' imo - I enjoyed all aspects of the 7 minute, serpentine journey immensely. Stoked for the album!
This. This is exactly my reaction.
Had to pick up the green from EU because the US store won't ship to Australia.

Yeah the rates are getting out of control. But some labels are taking a bit of a hit for us it seems. Just grabbed the new Jenny Hval $10 shipping. Best rates I've seen from the US in a looooong time.
Just be glad you aren't in Australia. Shipping rates to here are $23 for the small bundle. And that is a decent price.
Pretty fricking pumped about this record. August 1st seems so far away, makes me want to order a UK copy as well so I can get it way ahead of time.

Man, a $24 black LP fucking sucks. I like Sargent House, but they're not really pulling out the stops when it comes to packaging or heavy weight vinyl. I'll end up buying this because I love Chelsea Wolfe, I do think this is overpriced by about 20% though.
It's a double LP isn't it? I don't think $24 is bad for a double.
That new song is one of my favorites of the year. So incredible. I'm totally going with the splatter.
SH usually presses in batches of 1000/color. I'm assuming this will be similar.

Well that stinks. Missed the green. Sounds pretty great though.

I was on the fence with this piece (expensive shipping to aus) but after seeing the photo, I just have to have it (thanks drds). Can't wait to get my hands on it.

That happened to me. Send Tom an email, he got back to me in a couple of minutes and all was fixed.
