    Just had an awesome mailman drop off some records, first time we have met face to face (not sure if it is usually a woman on the weekdays that I see) but he seemed pretty enthused that he was dropping off some records he wanted to chop it up but I think he realized he had to keep moving haha. I heart USPS. 

    My mailman knows the deal too haha. He feels the heft of it and asks if its 180g double. Cool guy

    JK Simmons deserves all the awards for Whiplash. I should probably see more of the highly acclaimed performances from the year, but that's how I feel after seeing that movie.

    Also, that last scene was so beautifully shot. The slow motion and the back and forth seriously pumped me up.

    Wasn't it?! The cinematography was amazing, that final scene where <spoilerish> they finish caravan and the lights dim but he keeps his solo going </spoilerish> has stayed with me. Im sure Simmons will get the oscar, should've been nominated twice in the same category. Glad you got to see it, man!

    man i finally pulled the trigger on a 5LP order on wednesday... shocked to check the tracking and it says DELIVERED. can't wait to get home and dig in, praying that nothing was damaged. 

     

    biggest score had to be an import of Child Ballads by Anais Mitchell & Jefferson Hamer, which came in around $24 with the coupon applied... absolute steal. CAN'T WAIT

    Child Ballads is a great album, congrats on getting it cheap

    Just got a call at 2 am from my "friends" and literally the whole time they just made fun of me about everything (my weight, having red hair, never had a girlfriend, etc.) and they just wouldn't stop and it went on for 10 minutes. Is there anything I can do about this because I'm just so emotionally distraught right now... I literally feel so useless....

    You've gotta stand up to those bronies. Say, look mate, i'd like to keep listening to you complimenting my handsome looks but i'm shagging your mum so call me later and if I don't answer, she wanted seconds. 

    But seriously, those boys sound like they peaked in middle school, which means they're doomed to be lame. You'll find new friends worth your time. I've only got about 3-4 really good friends and that's all a guy really needs. Keep that chin up chief!
