What's the deal with Amazon UK.... How many versions of this do they want to list?!?! Originally I pre-ordered the only version available about a month or so back, which was on for £35+ (therefore making me think it was the limited coloured edition)... Does the shipping keep increasing on this or something (for UK)?! I just had a look and it's $57 shipping now?! So $177 total... That's A LOT (but then again part of me does think it's most def worth it!). Decisions, decisions...

Not sure if there is any particular reason you made all questions open text, but you could get a lot more useable data and insight with better questioning and multiple choice answers rather than paragraph responses (not to mention the fact that you will save yourself a ton of time by not having to read, collate and then process qualitative responses). Don't mean to sound overly negative with my response here, but I have a lot of experience in this area, so I figured some constructive criticism is always helpful! OK, so the shipping to where I am is around $15... I am going to grab a pack of the Ultimate Outer 2.5 and then samples of everything else... Right now I only have one album that won't fit in standard sleeves, so fingers crossed the Deluxe Oversized Ultimate Outer 5.0 sample will do the trick there. Thanks for the help guys!

Awesome.... Both options would work, but I guess I may as well go for the first version - my CD player does indeed go through my amplifier. I've seen Schiit mentioned a fair bit on this site - are they the go-to brand for headphone amps? Thanks guys - appreciate the responses!

Hey guys, have an issue with the headphone output on my CD player, but I'm not sure if a simple headphone amp is all that I need... So, it seems very illogical, but my CD deck has it's own headphone output, but no volume control, which means the level is basically unlistenable (i.e. ridiculously loud). My amplifier doesn't have it's own headphone out, so do I just need to get a headphone amp and run a connection from the CD deck? If so, will it be a phono to phono, or from the CD headphone jack to a line in? Sorry for the noob-level question, but I wanted to be 100% sure of the solution before I went out and purchased anything. Thanks! ps. It is a fairly old (10-15 years) Panasonic CD deck.

Many thanks for the replies. Interesting to read about the effects of outer PVC sleeves on the inner vinyl. May have to rethink my entire strategy! Will check out the prices on Sleeve City and see if it would work with shipping them to the UK - would the 'Ultimate Outer 2.5' work for all size LPs (gatefolds etc)? allenh - i'm in the London area... Do you know when and where that guy may be around? Be worth taking a trip to check out his wares. Thanks again everyone

Hi guys, sorry if this has been covered a million times already, but I wondered if you have any tips for where to get hold of some good quality plastic outer sleeves for double or gatefold albums, in the UK? I bought these from Amazon, which are great for 99% of double albums, but now and then one comes along which won't fit. Also, it would be great to find some that allow the gatefold to open up whilst still covered. There are these - also on Amazon - but they seem ridiculously pricey to me (£2 per sleeve)?! Perhaps I'm just a cheapskate! Thanks in advance for any help you can give
